Nandini's pov

I wake up to a phone ringing like crazy, obviously not mine because I have 3 people on my contact list, ma, manik and cabir.  I groan a bit and move my hand around to find this stupid phone but I couldn't so I got up rubbing my eyes

Manik wasn't in bed, but his phone was right there beside me, I wanted to throw his phone but it probably was so expensive so I refrained instead I picked t up

"Hello" I groggily whisper

"Hey sweetie, where is manik"

"I don't know cabir and I don't care, you are rude for calling so early, im sleepy" his laugh is all I hear in the background irritating me more

"Manikkk" I scream

"Give me a second nandini" I hear his voice

"Okay,don't get too annoyed" cabir said

"I will seriously punch you in the tit" I say casusing him to have another physcotic laugh attack

"Whats wrong darling?" Manik asks

I look up to see him drying his hair

"Alien called" I said

"Huh?"

'cabir" I said throwing the phone at manik who caught it glaring at me

"Yeah" he said on the phone

"No she is just a bit cranky cause she just woke up because of your call" I groan urning to find a comfortable spot to sleep but I couldn't

"Fine ya, do it, yeah she is going to come with"

"She is not" I yell

"quiet mrs malhotra" i hear him say sternly making me groan in response

"You quit mr malhotra" I reply sitting up

"What's gotten you so cranky?" He asks sitting on the bed

"You, and that stupid friend of yours" I mumble

"Not true at all, be honest"

How does he always manage to decode my emotions?

"I feel sad that Mia isn't ours anymore" he sighs a little laying on his stomach

"I know that feeling tesoro and trust me I feel the same way but lets look at the positives"

"There is nothing positive" I whine slomping back down the bed

"Well not when you look at it with that negative attitude" he says

"Okay fine, tell me whats positive?" I ask

"Were you ready to take care of Mia?"

"Yes" I respond right away

"You may have been but not fully"

"Not true, I was ready to go" I said being offended

"You weren't little one, you said you were because you knew that's something we had to do, it was happening either ways so you put this wall up and said you were ready but you weren't and you aren't" goddd he is away right and I hate that

I sigh looking at him, he was absolutely right on the dot. I was upset because I had convinced myself this is what I wanted and I didn't but now that Mia isn't with us I am sad

"You are right but I am sad now since there are no positives, or I just can't see any"

"Well I can name one irhg toff the bat" he says
