Wednesday June 16th.
"Good morning, Paris" I say out loud and Ginny laughs at me: "Good morning, Paris?" Did you really say that.
"What if I did." I say teasingly.
Ginny and I stand face to face, with only a few inches between us.
"Come here." Ginny says teasing me,
I take a step closer to her and she wraps her arms around me and close the remaining space between us, as our lips meet in a tender kiss I close my eyes and the worls disappears. As our lips part I smile and Ginny mirror it. Afterwards we get changed and head down town to get some breakfast.
I am so excited to explore this beautiful city with Ginny. We're ready for a day filled with love, adventure, and discovering all that Paris has to offer.
We find a charming café and have a delightful breakfast. Ginny and I sit outside, sipping on coffee and indulging in flaky croissants. We take our time, relishing in the sweet Parisian air and the joy of being together in this magical place.
Our first stop after breakfast is the Marais district, known for its LGBTQ+ friendly atmosphere. Hand in hand, we wander through the narrow streets, exploring unique boutiques, admiring beautiful art galleries, and stopping at vibrant cafes for a quick espresso. We make sure to visit Les Mots à la Bouche, a historic LGBTQ+ bookstore, where we find a couple of books to add to our collection.
Next, we're off to the Centre Pompidou, a contemporary art museum. As we walk hand in hand through the exhibits, we immerse ourselves in the world of art, appreciating the diversity and creativity of the works on display. It's inspiring to see the representation of LGBTQ+ artists and their stories.
For lunch, we make our way to Le Village Royal, near the Louvre. The area is bustling with activity, and we find a cozy restaurant to enjoy a delicious French meal. We toast to our love and the incredible adventure we're experiencing together.
With satisfied appetites, we continue our exploration by taking a leisurely stroll along the Seine River. The views of Notre-Dame Cathedral and the Louvre Museum take our breath away. We decide to rent a tandem bike and peddle along the river, laughing and enjoying the freedom of the open road. The cool breeze and the picturesque scenery make it a perfect moment to create lasting memories.
As the afternoon wears on, we find ourselves in Montmartre, a neighborhood filled with artistic flair. We climb the steps leading to the Sacré-Cœur Basilica, hand in hand, marveling at its grandeur. The panoramic view from the terrace is breathtaking, and we can't help but embrace each other, grateful for this incredible journey we're sharing.
As the sun begins its descent, casting a warm golden glow over the city, Ginny and I find ourselves standing in awe in front of the iconic Eiffel Tower. The air is filled with a sense of romance, and the anticipation between us is palpable. With the twilight sky as our witness, we lock eyes, our hearts beating in synchrony.
Unable to resist the pull any longer, I reach for Ginny's hand, our fingers intertwining naturally. The soft breeze caresses our faces, adding an extra touch of magic to the moment. Slowly, we close the gap between us, our bodies gravitating toward one another as if drawn by an irresistible force.
Our lips meet tenderly, a delicate connection that ignites a spark deep within us. In that kiss, time stands still. The world around us fades away, and it's just Ginny and me, lost in a moment of pure passion and love. The taste of her lips, the warmth of her embrace, it all overwhelms my senses in the most beautiful way.
As we continue to kiss, our emotions intertwine, becoming an expression of the deep bond we share. The Eiffel Tower stands tall and proud behind us, as if witnessing and celebrating our love. Twilight embraces us, casting a dreamlike glow around our silhouette, turning this moment into a timeless memory etched in our hearts forever.
We linger in the kiss, cherishing the electric energy that courses between us. It's a culmination of our journey, a testament to the love we've discovered and nurtured. In this embrace, we find solace, strength, and a profound connection that transcends the physical realm.
Eventually, we part, our lips reluctant to break the spell. Our eyes meet, reflecting the intensity of the moment, and we smile, knowing that we've shared something truly extraordinary. Hand in hand, we continue to explore the city of love, our souls forever intertwined, ready to create more beautiful memories together.
That passionate kiss in front of the Eiffel Tower at twilight becomes a symbol of our love, a cherished chapter in our story, and a reminder of the magic that can be found in the most unexpected moments. Paris, with its enchanting allure, has gifted us this incredible experience, and we will forever hold it close to our hearts.
As we return to our hotel room, cheeks still blushing from the kiss in front of the Eiffel tower, we sit down on the bed. "Thank you for an amazing day my love, I needed this." Ginny says with a quiet voice. "I needed this too, living with Hermione is not easy these days."
"You've heard them too?" Ginny laughs.
"How can you not, like I get it, but every morning, switch it up a bit."
"You are unbelievable." Ginny smiles.
"Okay if you say so." I say mirroring her smile.
