1999

Saturday October 30th

Hermione entered my apartment at four pm, and we got ready together, she helped me pick the right dress, and she helped me with my make-up as I don't do it very often, I just don't have the energy to do it. And I dont see the need to do my make-up if I don't want to.

But at six pm Hermione and I left the apartment and Ron drove us down town to a small restaurant, we started the night with a meal and a bit of wine and after we ate the time was around seven pm and we went out to find a new place to start our night.

Lately life had been so busy for both Hermione and I that we hardly had time to hang out. But tonight, we were going to have fun and hit the town together, and I was excited to experience a real night of drinking for the first time.

We began at a fancy cocktail lounge. Hermione ordered a classic Martini, while I wanted to try something different, so I went with a colorful and fruity concoction. As we sipped our drinks and chatted, I felt a bit nervous, but the atmosphere was so lively that I soon started to relax.

We moved on to a lively pub, and the music and energy there were infectious. Hermione ordered a beer, and I wanted to join in on the fun, so I decided to try some shots with some people we met. I laughed and giggled as the alcohol started to kick in, feeling more and more confident.

We danced, met new friends, and played a drinking game together. I loved being the life of the party, and everyone seemed to enjoy my infectious energy. But as the night went on, I began to lose track of how much I had been drinking. My inhibitions vanished, and I didn't realize I was going too far.

Hermione, being the responsible one, noticed my unsteady steps and slurred speech. She gently suggested we slow down and drink some water, but I was having too much fun to listen. I wanted to make the most of the night, even though I knew I was getting a little out of hand.

Eventually, after a particularly enthusiastic dance, I stumbled, and Hermione quickly caught me before I fell. She looked worried, and I knew she was concerned about me. "I think it's time to call it a night," she said, trying to sound caring and firm at the same time. "Let's get you home safely."

I pouted for a moment, but deep down, I knew she was right. I was feeling a bit queasy and tired anyway. Hermione helped me gather my things, and we got a cab to take us home.

In the cab, I leaned on Hermione, feeling both grateful and embarrassed. "Thanks for taking care of me," I mumbled.

"You're my little sister, it's my job to take care of you," she replied with a warm smile. "We had a great night, didn't we?"

I nodded, feeling guilty about going overboard with the drinking. "Yeah, it was fun, but I should've paced myself better."

"That's okay," she reassured me, giving me a pat on the back. "We all learn from our experiences. Next time, we'll both know better."

Back at home, Hermione made sure I got to bed safely. I mumbled a tired "goodnight," and as she tucked me in, I felt grateful to have such a caring sister. Just before I fell asleep I heard Hermione talking to someone: "She's a bit hammered, good you came home early"

"Yeah, she looks dreadful." I heard Ginny say.

Hermione: "She had fun tonight."

"I can see that." Ginny laughed.

Hermione: "Ron's picking me up, so I'm going."

Ginny: "Bye, Mione."

Hermione: "Bye Gin."

"Ginny?" I said quietly.

"I'm here my love just try to sleep alright"

"Alright."

Then Ginny turn me to my side and place her arms around me, the last thing I remember before I fall asleep is Ginny kissing my head.
