Wednesday August 11th

The sun was gently setting, casting a warm glow over the Burrow's charming garden as we arrived for Ginny's eighteenth birthday celebration. I held Ginny's hand tightly, excited and nervous to be part of this special day. As her girlfriend, I wanted everything to be perfect for her.

Walking through the decorated garden, I saw Hermione, We exchanged smiles and greetings, thrilled to be celebrating together. I was grateful that Ginny's family had welcomed me with open arms, making me feel like a part of their tight-knit group.

Inside the Burrow, the air was filled with laughter and the mouthwatering aroma of Mrs. Weasley's cooking. I carried a gift wrapped in colorful paper, hoping Ginny would love it as much as I loved her. My heart fluttered with joy as I watched her talk and laugh with her friends, Luna and Neville, who were like a second family to her.

Draco's presence surprised me, but I could see he had changed over time, making genuine efforts to mend past mistakes. I admired Ginny's open-mindedness and ability to forgive, qualities that made her even more special to me.

Once dinner was served, we all gathered around the table, sharing stories and jokes. I felt lucky to be surrounded by such a loving and accepting group of people. Ginny's brothers were a delight, and Ron's teasing about our relationship only brought laughter and good-natured banter.

As the night wore on, the air was filled with laughter, dancing, and joy. The bonfire crackled and cast flickering shadows across the garden, creating a magical atmosphere. Ginny and I found ourselves swaying to the music, wrapped in each other's arms.

With the encouragement of the playful ambiance and a rush of courage, I decided to show Ginny just how much she meant to me. As the music reached a crescendo, I leaned in and pressed my lips gently against hers, in front of all our family and friends.

The moment seemed to stand still as our lips met, and a hushed silence fell over the gathering. My heart pounded in my chest, unsure of how everyone would react. But as I pulled away, I saw nothing but smiles and joyous applause from the people we loved.

Ginny's cheeks flushed with a beautiful rosy hue, and her eyes sparkled with happiness. Her family and friends cheered, showing their support for our love. It was a moment of pure acceptance and celebration of the love between us.

Mrs. Weasley stepped forward, wiping away a tear of happiness, and enveloped both Ginny and me in a heartfelt embrace. "Oh, my dears, I couldn't be happier for you both," she said with genuine warmth in her voice.

Ginny's brothers exchanged grins and clapped me on the back, welcoming me into their family with open arms. Even Draco Malfoy, whose face showed a mix of surprise and acceptance, raised his glass in a silent toast.

The night continued with laughter and dancing, and Ginny and I were surrounded by an overwhelming sense of love and support from our family and friends. It was a moment of acceptance and celebration that I would forever hold dear in my heart.

As the night came to a close, I knew that this was a turning point in our relationship—a moment where we openly embraced our love in front of everyone, unashamed and unafraid.

Ginny and I walked hand in hand, looking up at the stars in the night sky, knowing that we were stronger together. The love that we shared and the acceptance we received from our loved ones made this birthday celebration an unforgettable milestone in our journey together.

As we said our goodbyes, Ginny's family and friends bid us farewell with warm hugs and wishes for our future happiness. We knew that the road ahead might have challenges, but we were ready to face them together, supported by the love of those who mattered most.

Ginny's eighteenth birthday celebration was a night of love, laughter, and acceptance—a night that brought us even closer and marked the beginning of a new chapter in our lives, filled with the promise of a love that would endure any test of time.

Back in the apartment Ginny and I fell asleep cuddeling with our hands intertwined, just before we fell asleep Ginny whispered in my ear: "Today was perfect, thank you."

"But I didnt really do anything." I whispered

"You did so much more than you know, by just being there."

"I love you Ginny."

"I love you more." Ginny whispered finally, and we fell asleep.
