On the morning of our departure from Venice, a sense of melancholy tinged our hearts. We knew that our time in this captivating city was drawing to a close, but we were excited for the next chapter of our journey. After bidding farewell to the hotel and the Grand Canal, we made our way to the train station, ready to embark on the next leg of our adventure—Rome.

As the train whisked us away from Venice, we marveled at the picturesque Italian countryside passing by our window. Rolling hills, vineyards, and quaint villages painted a scenic backdrop, making the journey feel like a scene from a classic film.

As we arrived in Rome, the city welcomed us with open arms. The vibrant streets, adorned with ancient ruins and bustling markets, promised endless adventures. We checked into our hotel and set out to immerse ourselves in the historical and cultural splendor that Rome had to offer.

As we had explored Colosseum a few days before we decided to go shopping in the streets of Rome, we had a lot of fun, trying on ridiculous outfits but ended up buying a few flanels for myself as I was tired of always copying Hermione's taste, Ginny got herself a few dresses and some new sunglasses.

After exploring the Streets of Rome, we decided to wander through the city, following our curiosity wherever it led us. As we meandered through the lively streets, we stumbled upon a quaint theater nestled amidst the bustling Roman life. Intrigued by the possibility of experiencing a theatrical performance in this historic city, we decided to step inside and inquire about the evening's show.

To our surprise, as we entered the theater, we spotted Amanda standing near the ticket counter. Her eyes widened with astonishment and delight as she recognized us. It turned out that she had decided to explore Rome as well and had coincidentally chosen the same theater for an evening of cultural immersion.

Reunited, we couldn't contain our excitement. The unexpected encounter filled us with a renewed sense of joy and camaraderie. With Amanda by our side, we eagerly purchased tickets for the evening's performance, eager to share this special experience together.

As the time for the show drew near, we settled into our seats, ready to be transported to another world. The stage came alive with captivating performances, showcasing the talent and passion of the actors. The stories unfolded before us, evoking a range of emotions and immersing us in the magic of theater.

During the intermission, we reconvened outside the theater, sharing stories and catching up on our respective journeys.
"So what are you doing here?" Ginny asked Amanda
"I needed to meet a friend, and my mother couldnt know so I just left the hotel, telling her I was going to the teater which she hates so I knew I could be alone here." Amanda told us eagerly.
"Where are your friend?" I asked
"I Think she went to the bathroom, she sat beside Me in the first act, diddnt you notice?" Amanda explained.
"No not really" Ginny said.

A moment later a tall blond girl appeard kissing Amanda on the cheek and then asked: Who's your friends, dear."
"This is Ginny and Harlow I met Them in the train after my mother was rude to them."
"Hi, I'm Maddie"
Maddie shook both Ginny's and my hand before turning to Amanda again saying: "So your mother was being homephobic again?"
"Yes she was, I just hate that she cant accept that times are changing, and that she can't accept us"
Amanda said resignedly.
"Wait" Ginny Said surprised: "Is Maddie your girlfriend?"
"Yeah she is, Thats Why I couldnt tell my mom." Amanda smiled.
"I get it" I said: "My parents aren't really fond of my sexuallity either."
"It really sucks" Maddie sighed.
"I Think the final act is about to start" Ginny said, and we hurried into the theater again and found our seats just in time.

As the final act commenced, we were captivated by the artistic brilliance unfolding on stage. The melodies, the dialogues, and the emotions intertwined to create a truly unforgettable experience. Together, we laughed, we cried, and we applauded the actors' extraordinary performances.

After the show, we emerged from the theater, filled with a sense of wonder and gratitude. The night was still young, and we decided to continue our exploration of Rome, guided by Amanda's local insights and the shared excitement of rediscovering the city together.

As we walked through the illuminated streets of Rome, under the moonlit sky, we reveled in the magic of the moment. The unexpected reunion had added a new layer of enchantment to our journey, reminding us of the serendipitous surprises that travel brings.

With promises to meet again and fond farewells, we parted ways, each carrying the cherished memories of this unexpected reunion. Ginny and I returned to our hotel, filled with a sense of wonder and gratitude for the friendship that had unexpectedly crossed our paths once more. As we fell asleep, we dreamt of the adventures that awaited us in the vibrant city of Barcelona, knowing that the bonds of friendship and the joy of unexpected reunions would forever enrich our journey.
