Not on her watch.

Leo was woken up by some weird noises coming from outside of his room.

His head was spinning, and his vision was extremely blurry. His tinnitus only made it worse for the slider to hear, completely drowning out the muffled sounds. For a second Leo thought he was still sleeping, so what he did was pinch himself, just like in the movies. It hurt. It hurt enough to prove Leo his own point.

It took another moment for Leon to come to his senses and be able to comprehend his surroundings like usual. What was the time? How long had he slept? Sure, it was nice to be able to sleep for once, but the weird, muffled sounds were still bothering Leo. Reaching out for his phone, Leo found out it was not on its designated place. An annoyed growl escaped the turtle's mouth, as he got up from his laying position, making pained sounds because of his back hurting for some unknown reason. When did sleeping become such a painful activity? Or should he call it a non-activity? Wait, he was supposed to find his phone. Where is that thing?

Transferring his attention from the weird topic in his head to his lost phone, Leo scanned through his room. It was less messy than before, although still not clean enough to call it 'tidy'. There it was: Leo's phone, laying on the floor about 3 feet away from his bed place. Wow, how'd it get that far?

Leonardo lifted his body up from his beloved bed, only to halt on his place as his vision got darker, until it went fully black and returned to normal in the following several seconds. With the unstable appetite and pizza puffs he considered his safe food, it was of no surprise that Leon's blood lacked some important elements to it, like iron. Once the moment of 'blacking out' was gone, Leo's hearing finally caught on the noises from the lair. No, not noises, those were voices. Definitely his siblings talking. They don't usually talk this loud though, especially when they think that Leo is sleeping. It was never a secret, that Leon's a light sleeper, so silenced behavior from the caring family, when the insomniac of the team is thought to be getting a shut-eye, was very expected. "What made it different this time?" would be a question to ask, if Leo didn't hear a suspiciously familiar voice, which clearly did not belong to the members of his family, but still was somehow recognizable.

It was Yuichi.

That rabbit he was talking with literally the night prior.

Leo's mind couldn't even manage to ask the obvious to appear question of what the hare was doing in the lair, as his body sped out of the room, towards the voice. It did not take long for the ninja turtle to reach the rabbit's voice, as he was literally running in the direction of his insomniac buddy. That caused Leo to make a very dramatic appearance at the projector room, literally bursting into it and startling every single person there, which was 4: Donnie, Mikey, Raph and Yuichi. As the red-eared slider with a matching red face stood at the entrance of the projector room, the other turtles stood in front of the rabbit, who was seated in a chair with the projector lights directed right at him. Once again Leo was stunned with the way Yuichi's fur shined under the light and his eyes gleamed with red, wide with confusion.

- Yuichi..., - Leo let out without realizing it, the sounds coming out in a very breathy way. Wow, the first thing you say after waking up is the name of your 'friend'? You're down pretty bad already, huh, Neon Leon? Realizing what he said, the slider quickly put up an unbothered expression on his face: one browbone lifted, a confident smirk playing on his lips, and gave a continuation to the started sentence.

- He-e-e-y! How are you, bud? Totally didn't expect you at my home so soon, but who am I to blame you? Since you missed me this bad, I gotta give ya what you want, am I right?

A solid second of silence followed, as it felt like a whole damned eternity for Leo. He was about to scold himself for such an embarrassing joke, however, his mind was too slow once again, because the room got filled with the rabbit's snickering, which developed into giggles shortly after. This was the third time Yuichi saved the red-eared slider from regretting his actions and spilling words of hate onto himself and Leo was very grateful for it. That showed in a smile spreading across his face, with his cheeks lifting up and his eyes squinting slightly.
