Bella

"'These wounds won't seem to heal. This pain is just too real. There's just too much that time cannot erase. When you cried I'd wipe away all of your tears, when you'd scream I'd fight away all of your fears. I held your hand through all of these years, but you-' "

"Bella?" Edward whispered. I turned off the stereo and sat up. "Are you okay? You're listening to Evanescence and it's starting to scare me."

"It's been an hour." I sighed.

"Have you tried calling the Black's?"

"Not yet. But I-" I started.

Call it Mother's Instinct or my Sixth Sense, but a pain twisted my heart making me double over in gasps.

"Bella!?"

"Renesmee!" I gasped. "Oh God! We have to help her!" I clutched my throbbing chest and flew out the door. Edward grabbed my hand and yanked me back. "We can't go over the line Bella."

"It's our daughter!" I cried. "She's in trouble!"

"How Bella? How do you know that?"

I pushed my shield away as if I was flicking away a fly. It wasn't as hard when I was upset.

"Oh." Edward frowned.

I let my shield fall back into place. "I know it's just a feeling but I've never felt it before Edward. It's scary. I have to do something! I can't just stand here!"

I took off running again, hearing Edward's footsteps racing behind me.

I was yanked back again. "Bella."

"Please Edward!" I pleaded, turning toward him.

"We can't just-" his face went blank. His dark eyes emptied.

"What Edward? What is it?" I demanded, shaking him.

"Run Bella." He whispered. "We have to run."

He grabbed my hand and we flew forward, barreling faster and faster towards the Black's house.

The stench of werewolves burned my nostrils.

"The werewolves are attacking." Edward explained. "It's a civil war."

And that's when I heard Renesmee scream.
