Cameron James stood in front of the mall waiting for her friend Natasha Romanoff to meet her for lunch. She met Natasha a few years ago when Nat was undercover pretending to be a computer analyst at the company Cameron worked for. The owner of the company was using the business as a front to smuggle weapons to Hydra. Cameron helped Nat and SHIELD take them down. After that, she and Nat remained friends. From time to time, Nat would reach out to Cameron to help locate Hydra agents. Cameron was very talented when it came to computers and hacking. She didn't mind helping since SHIELD paid very well. When she was younger, she would hack into some of the most prestigious companies just for fun. Now she freelanced as a consultant for different major companies to secure their computers from people like her.

Natasha spotted Cameron and was waving to get her attention. Cameron smiled as she ran up to her, hugging her when she noticed two very large men looming over them. Cameron recognized them immediately.

"I'm sorry but I'm on babysitting duty. When I mentioned I was going to the mall, Thor jumped in the car dragging his brother Loki with him," Nat explained as she pointed her thumb behind her.

Cameron looked over at the Asgardian gods. She knew of them from the attack on New York a few years ago. It was all over the papers. Loki tried to take over Earth by attacking New York, causing chaos and destruction. Now Loki was making amends by living with the mortals he tried to rule. Nat would tell her how much he hated it. He probably would have preferred living in a dungeon than this.

Nat made the introductions. Thor took her little hand into his big paw and placed a kiss on her knuckles. Thor stood around 6 feet, blonde hair blue eyed Adonis. He was wearing a T-shirt and jeans. It looked like he was trying to blend in but failed miserably since he was so big and bulky, very hard to miss. His voice was quite boisterous and loud, but he had a friendly smile on his face.

"It's a pleasure Lady Cameron," he said with a wink.

Cameron smiled. Her attention went to Loki who was just staring at her. She followed the news and was attracted to him the minute she saw his picture all those years ago. To have him in front of her was a little intimidating, especially since he just stood there with his arms across his chest, observing his surroundings. He looked annoyed.  He was tall like his brother, lean but muscular. Jet black hair and emerald green eyes. Eyes that looked like they can reach into your soul. When it was time to shake Loki's hand, it was as if a jolt of electricity went through her body. She felt the blush from her head to her toes. His green eyes staring at her as if he could read her mind. Actually he could if she remembered what Nat had told her.

"Cameron, what an unusual name," Loki said.

Thor elbowed him in the ribs. "Don't be rude, brother."

Loki looked at him in shock. "I'm not. I just heard that was a masculine name here on Midgard."

Cameron giggled. "It's ok. It usually is a masculine name. My mother swore I was going to be a boy when she was pregnant. When I came out, she was highly disappointed, but refused to change my name." She gave a shrug when she noticed he still had a hold of her hand. Slowly he released it making her miss his touch.

They walked around the mall for a bit while Cameron would look over at Loki. From time to time, she would see him roll his eyes when people would stop and ask to take a picture of Nat or Thor. Some people would glance at Loki, knowing who he was but they would either ignore him or give him dirty looks. Cameron felt bad for him and was a little annoyed at those people. She wanted to jump to his defense, but he looked quite capable in taking care of himself. The look he would send them was very threatening.  He did stick out since they were all wearing jeans and t shirts except for Loki. He was dressed in a suit. Who wears a suit to the mall? she thought to herself. It did look good on him though.
