Chap 1

A/N

Since school will be starting the next month I'm gonna have to prepare some stuff for like high school and shit so idk if I'm gonna post daily.

(Mumei's pov)

It was the second half of the school year as I walked round the halls with Fauna and Bae to our next class.

"Hey Mumei"

"Yea?"

"Have anyone ya like?"

"N-no!"

"What?! Mumei, you're the only one out of all of us who isn't dating anyone!"

"I-it's complicated!"

"Mumei, it's just one bad break up with Lui, you're going to find someone soon."

"Bae just give Mumei some time"

"Y-yea! What Fauna said!" I blew a raspberry at Bae as she then did it back to me. We laughed as we then entered our class. I started to go to the back of the class and then sat down as Bae and Fauna sat next to me. When everyone in the classroom was seated, I then heard a pair of footsteps walking in. Everyone in the class started to whisper and made confused noises. A tall young woman walked in the class and stood in front of the classroom. I felt my heart race a bit from just looking at her.

"Kroniichiwa everyone." Everyone in the class started to stare at her weirdly.

"right, I probably shouldn't have started with that. Anyways! I'm your new teacher for a couple of months, my name is Ouro Kronii but since I can't be called by my first name in classes just call me Miss Ouro I guess. Your original teacher got in an accident and can't attend for a long period of time. So I'll be filling in. Now, any questions?" More than half of the class started to raise their hands.

"Uhhh, well I'll be only taking 2 questions. So let's start with......you in the red shirt"

"How old are you?"

"I'm 21" a couple of students made surprised faces while the others whispered to their friends.

"Uhh, you, the dude in the hat"

"Are you single?" miss Ouro sighed as she then looked back at the student.

"Yes, but I'm not into you since you're obviously not my preference. Now, let's start shall we?" miss Ouro started to go around the class and pass out tests.

"Hey Mumei, don't you think our new teacher is kinda hot?"

"Fauna I thought you said to give my dating life some time!" Fauna giggled as my face turned more red. I quietly scolded Fauna.

"What's your name?" I looked up and saw Miss Ouro hovered above me as she passed my test to me. My eyes locked with her big pretty sapphire eyes. My face turned even more red as my heart started to race more.

"I- I-" my brain froze not being able to mutter out words.

"Her name is Mumei, Miss." I mouthed the words thank you to Bae as she said the words I was trying to say. Miss Ouro chuckled at me as she then patted my head.

"Nice to meet you then, Mumei" Miss Ouro went to Bae and then the next, passing out tests. I covered my face with my hands as I then sank down in my seat. My face felt all warm.

"Alright. Everyone has their tests so you can all start."

I flipped the page as I started to quickly do the test. The test was a 2 hour test but I finished within 30 minutes. I stood up and everyone looked at me. I was the only one who had finished. I started to slowly walk towards miss Ouro's desk and placed my test down.

"Wow, you finished fast."

"A-ah, t-thank you" I quickly turned around and my hand accidentally knocked some paper over.

"s-sorry!" I bent down and started to pick up the paper.

"It's ok Mumei." I started to grab another paper and then felt Miss Ouro's hands lay on top of mine. My face gushed red quickly. I took my hand away from the paper quickly and stood up. I then placed the papers back on her desk as she placed the other one down too.

"sorry Miss O-Ouro" I whispered. Miss Ouro looked at me and then leaned forward close to me.

"You can just call me Kronii since it's a bit weird to call me miss since we're about 3 or 4 years apart, but this is only between me and you, ok?"

"y-yes Miss- I-I mean Kronii" Kronii laughed at my behavior as I then walked back to my seat. When I sat down, Bae leaned close to me and whispered, "ooo looks like you're finally going to date someone after all~"

"I-I am not!" I whispered back.
