Chap 15

The school bell rang loudly as everyone then rushed out of class. Mumei was the last to get out but I stopped her before she did.
"Mumei, what is bothering you so much today?"
"Eh? Nothing is....." Mumei looked away from me.
"o-okay then..." Mumei then hurriedly left my room.
(Why were you lying?.....)
I walked around my classroom for a bit till I then heard a notification. I opened up my phone to see a text from the previous teacher from this class.
[hi thank you for covering me recently. The doctors said I was recovering fast so I should be able to come back in a week or so.] I closed my phone and sat it down on my desk. I heard a faded laughter in the halls that caught my attention. I walked out of the room to see Mumei getting pushed around by Sakamata and a group of people laughing. I sternly walked over there and slightly shoved the people so I could get through. When I got in I saw Mumei's face bleeding a bit. Everyone from the little crowd and Sakamata quickly left as I started to help Mumei up.
"Mumei, why didn't you tell me that this happens?" Mumei stood up weakly and smiled.
"I guess I forgor about it" mumei's face was pale all over. I grabbed Mumei's hand and dragged her into my classroom. I sat don't at my desk and rummaged through the draws till I found plasters. I patted on my lap signaling Mumei to sit on it. Her pale cheeks tinted a bit red from my gesture as she then followed. I wiped the blood off from her face with a tissue and then disinfected the wound. I gently placed a plaster on her cut and then threw the tissues away. Mumei's attention was avoiding me, I hugged her tightly and hurried my head in her chest. I heard Mumei's heart beating faster when I did that.
"Mumei....I'm gonna be teaching for one last week." Mumei sat there silently.
"Why?..."
"Your original teacher was recovering fast so she should be back in a week."
"So does that mean that-" before she could finish her sentence, Mumei's sentence got cut off by the bell.
"Ah, you should probably be heading to your next class."
"R-right..." Mumei quickly got off of me and left.
