Chap 14

I slowly removed myself from her grasp and rolled over to my side.
I looked at the window from the bed and saw the sun shining through the blinds. I then felt 2 arms wrapped tightly around my waist and pulled me in. I turned my head slightly and saw Kronii nuzzled her head on the nape of my neck.
"Don't leave me...Mumei...."
(So that's what this was about huh?......)

When Kronii drove us to school I took a slight detour to the bathroom. When I was about to leave I got stopped by Chloe.
"u-um do you need something?...."
"I know~"
"K-know what?....."
"Your little ruse with Miss Ouro~" my eyes widened as the answer got to me.
"I-I don't know what you're talking about." I tried to leave but Chloe slammed me against the wall and pulled out her phone.
"Is this not you and Miss Ouro from yesterday?" I felt like my heart stopped when she showed me a photo of me sitting on Kronii while kissing her.
"What do you want?...." I asked in a shaky voice."
"it's simple. You are going to say yes and do everything I ask you to."
"A-and if I don't?"
"Then let's say this photo has the power to get Miss Ouro fired." I gulped from hearing her answer.
"Fine."
"Wow, and here I thought that you don't care about reputation~"
"I don't. I care about hers." Chloe scoffed and then left.
I felt like my body was heating up again like before but I ignored it like always.
I walked back to the classroom and sat at my seat. I pretended like nothing had happened.
"Mumei, where were you?" I looked at Bae as she asked me a question.
"I left something in the dorms is all." I looked around the classroom and saw Chloe's eyes peek through the blinds of the classroom watching. 

(Kronii pov)

I looked at Mumei who had a worried look on her face while staring at the blinds. I slightly glanced at it and saw a pair of eyes peeking through watching her. 
(Isn't that Sakamata?.....) I looked back at Mumei whose face still looked worried. I walked towards the blinds and bent towards it a bit. I knocked on the window and shouted enough for her to hear.
"Hey Sakamata! Go back to your class!" The girl flinched and quickly left. I looked at Mumei who then smiled at me but still had a worried face behind that smile.
(Mumei.......what's bothering you so much......)
