Chap 6

I felt someone shaking me over and over again. I gently opened my eyes to see Fauna, hovered over my body shaking me.

"Wow, I'm amazed that you got up for once, I was about to leave." I turned my side to Fauna as I slightly groaned.

"Mumei, we're gonna be late if you don't get up." I started to sit up straight and then got off of my bed.

"You didn't change your uniform from yesterday?"

"I got tired." I grabbed my stuff and headed for the door.

"You coming?"

"Mumei, your face is a bit red. Are you running on a low fever?"

"N-no." Fauna walked towards me and tried to put her hand on my forehead. I pushed Fauna's hand away and started walking out of the door.

"I'm not running on a fever." I replied in a stern voice.

"Mumei you know what happened last time when you had a fever and didn't get it checked!" I kept walking as I remembered what happened last time.

(S-stop reminding me....) I opened the door to the class and started to walk to my seat.

"Oi, Mumei, there's this mall that we wanna go to, you wanna come with us?"

"sure."

"You might want to take a jacket or something because it's freezing in there."

"Ok...." My thoughts started to get colluded with what Kronii gave me yesterday.

"Alright class. You guys have preparation tests today and tomorrow and the day after that." Everyone in the class quietly groaned to themselves. Winter was the busiest month with all the testing. Kronii stood up from her desk and grabbed the papers ready to pass them out.

"Yo Mumei, what you staring at?"

"h-huh? Oh, n-nothing Bae." I rested on my hand as I continued staring at Kronii.

(god.....she's so tall.....) it made me remember that yesterday the coat she gave me was too big for me.

"Alright you can all start"

"Eh?" I looked down on my desk and realized that she had already passed a test for me. I flipped my page and started to answer the questions like I was on autopilot. My attention kept diverting to Kronii. I started to stare at her again watching her every move like a creep. Kronii was sitting at her desk reading a book with glasses on. Kronii then brushed the hair out of her face and led it behind her ear. I gulped as I then started to hear my own heartbeat racing. When I looked back down at my test I realized I finished. I stood up and turned the paper in and went back to my desk. I get my body started to burn again like last night. I covered my face with my hands as I sighed. My face was all warm just from a slight touch. I looked at Kronii and then realized that she was signaling me to come to her. I stood up and walked towards her desk.

"Is there something wrong?"

"Mumei, why's you face red?"

"Oh I-I just took a jog around school before coming to class."

"ok then.....I thought it was because you got sick from last night in the cold."

"No.....I'm in great health!" I said in a weakened voice.

"Then, you can go back." I walked back to my seat and saw Bae looking at me.

"ooo, what did she need from you?"

"She was just asking me a question."

"Oh really? What question?" Bae pressed.

"Um was the test hard?"

"When will you accept the fact that you're in love with her huh?" I stayed silent to Bae. (I think I already realized it, Bae)

When class was over I started to head towards the exit but got stopped by Kronii.

"Is something wrong?"

"Mumei, your grades have been dropping recently, do you know why?"

(Crap....did I stare at her too much?)

"N-no" Kronii looked at me.

"Then request that you come to my home for a private lesson."

"Eh?-" my mind went blank.

(P-private?.....)
