Chap 4

I went back to my dorm not wanting to attend my other classes. I sat my stuff down and then laid on my bed. I stayed in that position staring at the wall till the next day. When I heard the bells ring my state broke. My eyes stung as I rubbed them.

"Oh? You're up early." I ignored Fauna and grabbed my stuff.

"Mumei, did you not sleep properly?" I looked at Fauna and shook my head.

"Mumei, with your health situation you know you have to sleep well!" My brain froze when she mentioned that.

"D-don't mention about my health situation again Fauna."

"Mumei I'm serious!"

"I'm fi-" I felt my head get dizzy as I then fell towards the wall. Fauna quickly rushed to my side to support me.

"I'm fine...." I gently pushed Fauna away and left for my classes without her. When I walked in, my body felt all limp. I then saw Bae and Fauna enter with a concerned face that was looking towards me.

(D-don't....don't look at me like that......I h-hate that expression......) I turned my head away from them as I then lowered it into my arms. I heard a pair of footsteps start to come towards me and then stop. I started to close my eyes when I then felt someone's hand rested on my head. I looked up and saw Kronii sitting in a chair backwards smiling at me.

"D-do you need something?"

"Damn, that's a bit cold. But yes I do. Mumei, I think we got off on the wrong foot, so I would like to take you out for the day when school is over."

"Eh?" My brain froze.

(Take me out?.......)

"What do you mean by that?"

"Well, there's this book store that I haven't gone to in a bit, so I'd like to take you there."

"I-....um.....s-sure...."

(bookstore.......that was where Lui took me on our first date.......) Kronii ruffled my hair a bit and then stood up.

"I'll be waiting at the school entrance then."

"Y-yea...."

(Kronii's pov)

I headed back to my desk and then sat down. Mumei rested her head back in her arms as I then smirked.

(cute.)

When school was over I waited at the entrance for Mumei. I checked my phone and then sighed.

(Where is she? School was over 20 minutes ago.....) I started to lose hope in waiting for her till I heard someone running through the empty halls.

"Kronii!" I turned my head around and saw Mumei running towards me.

"Wait Mumei the floor's-!" Before I could finish my sentence Mumei crashed into me making us both fall.

"wet....."

I slowly sat up a bit and realized that Mumei face planted in my chest. My face went a bit red from this. I gently poked Mumei's head as she then slowly looked up. Mumei's eyes widened and then quickly got off of me.

"S-sorry....." I started to stand up as Mumei followed.

"It's fine, let's just go." We started to walk down the streets to the store. I glanced at Mumei, whose face was still red from that little incident.

"So.......what took you so long?" Mumei walked in silence, not answering.

(Mumei's pov)

When we got to the bookstore I followed Kronii around. We were in there for a couple of hours and silent to each other. I looked around the store and saw a book that caught my interest.

('civilization without time'......interesting......) I grabbed the book off of the shelf and checked the price on it.

(Geez.....35 dollars for this book?......) I held the book in my arms as I thought of whether I should buy it or not. I started to look around to find Kronii since we separated a bit when we got in. I walked past shelves after shelves till I heard Kronii's voice. I stopped and peaked through the shelves and saw Kronii with another woman about her height with yellow hair.

"Kronii? I never thought I'd see you here."

"Oh, well I just dropped by. Do you need something, Kaela?"

"Nothing, I was just walking in here because outside was too cold."

"Alright then, I'll see you later?"

"Sure." My eyes widened when I saw Kronii leaned in and kissed the woman named Kaela. The woman then left for the exit. My heart felt like it shattered for some reason.

(This feels like the time when Lui ended our relationship........why do I feel like this?......)
