Chap 12

"What?..."
"I-I dated a student once years ago, and when her parents found out they were furious with her......it was to the point where she killed herself."
"And you're scared to repeat that."
"yea....." Mumei sat on me quietly.
"Kronii, I'm not the same....I won't kill myself just because people find out."
"How can you be so sure?....."
"Because Kronii, I don't care how people think of me."
"Mumei......we still can't...if someone finds out-"
"Then we keep it a secret."
"Mumei, are you sure?...."
"Yes..." my mind still had doubts on it but, I love her...
I looked at the clock behind Mumei and realized the time.
"Mumei, we have to go now."
"Todays a no uniform day, right?"
"Yea..."
"I didn't bring any spare clothes besides my uniform."
"You can take mine." Mumei got off of me as I walked to my closet and grabbed a sweater.
"A turtle neck? But they're so itchy"
"It's the only way I can think of to cover those up." Mumei looked at me confused and then realized. Her face turned red as she put on the sweater. I grabbed the first shirt I saw and put it on.

(Mumei's pov)

I sat in the back of the class like always but this time Fauna was staring at me.
"Fauna, is something wrong?"
"Yes, something is. You left in the middle of night, Mumei. Where the hell did you go?"
"I went to sleep over at a friend's house." Fauna looked at me carefully.
"I don't remember you owning that turtleneck, quite frankly I thought you don't like turtlenecks?"
"O-oh well I just thought maybe it was time for a change is all."
"Oi Mumei. How come you and Miss Ouro came in class at the same time again?" Bae eagerly pressed the question.
"W-we just bumped into each other in the halls."
"You know me and Fauna don't buy one word of this. Anyways, since you canceled the mall meet up with us, I thought we'd reschedule. How about today?"
"Sure"
Kronii's class continued on as normal. When it was over everyone left except for me. I walked over to Kronii's desk and sat on her lap face forward.
"D-do you need something Mumei?"
"I-I wanted to ask if my grades improved." Kronii sat straight on her chair.
"They did. A bit."
"That's all I need to know then." I started to get up from Kronii but she pulled me back.
"Mumei, surely that's not all you wanted right?" Kronii grinned at me as she pulled my neck closer to her and kissed me.
When the kiss ended I heard something rustling from outside. I looked behind and saw nothing.
"I'm sure it's just the ac, Mumei. It acts weird sometimes."
"R-right....."
