Chap 3

My face heated up a bit from the thought.

"Hey Mumei, what's that below your score?" I froze as I realized that she was talking about the message.

"Ah, it's just uhh a reminder for myself!"

"Are you sure it's not from miss Ouro?~" she said in a teasing tone.

"No!" Fauna sighed as she then laid on her bed.

"When will you just admit that you're in love with Miss Ouro?~"

"I-I am not!"

"Whatever, believe what you want." I held the paper above my head and stared at it for a long period of time.

When I awoke I looked at the clock and realized I was late for classes. I climbed down and quickly got dressed. I slammed the door on my way out.

I opened the door to my classroom and everyone looked at me.

"You're late Mumei"

"S-sorry, Miss Ouro." I quickly sat down at my seat next to Bae and Fauna.

"Why didn't you wake me up?!" I whispered to Fauna.

"I tried to, but you didn't get up." Kronii stood up from her desk and grabbed a pile of paper next to her.

"You guys have one more test for this week and that's it." Kronii started to pass out the tests one by one. When she got to me, she smiled at me and then left for the next. My face started to go red again.

(Her smile..........)

"You can start" I flipped the page over and started to answer the questions. (Ughhh is this C or D?.....) I looked up a bit to see if anyone was done yet and then I saw Kronii. My heart started to flutter, Kronii's eyes then met mine. Kronii smiled and waved at me. I lowered my head back down to my paper, unable to think about the test. My brain felt like it got fried from interacting with her. Before I knew it I already got to the end of the test. I stood up and turned the test in and then sat back down.

"You did it quicker than normal" I turned to Bae a bit.

"Well not every test is the same." I sank in my chair a bit as I looked at the walls out of boredom. My eyes then saw Kronii sitting there. I started to stare at her like a creep without realizing it.

"Mumei, why are you staring at Miss Ouro?" My attention broke as I then focused on Fauna.

"Huh? I'm staring at the p-posters"

"Well you're staring at a poster for a long time." Fauna then stood up and turned her test in. I got up and left the classroom to find the bathroom. When I got in I looked at the mirror and realized my face was all red.

(Did I stare at her too much?.......) I turned on the faucet and splashed my face with water. When I turned off the faucet I saw a girl standing behind me.

"Hey there"

"C-Chloe?" Chloe punched me in the face when I finished my sentence. I touched my face with my fingers and saw that blood was on it.

"Don't steal Lui from me." Chloe left the bathroom as I stood there stunned.

(Steal?........she never told me she dated another girl........)

When I got back to my class it was already over. I grabbed my stuff from inside and started heading outside.

"Mumei?" I turned my attention around to Kronii

"y-yea?"

"What happened to you ?" I looked at her confused and then realized that she was talking about my wound.

"Oh, I-I don't know." Kronii sighed as she grabbed something from her desk.

"Come here." My heart started to beat a bit faster from hearing her words. Kronii stood up from her chair and bent a bit down to my level as she then placed a bandage on the bleeding part. I started to sweat a bit knowing that Kronii is inches away from me. I diverted my eyes away.

"Are you sure you don't know how you got that wound? Because it looks somewhat bad to not know."

"I don't know" Kronii looked at me and then sat back in her chair. When I started to head to my next class I saw Lui with Chloe. Seeing Lui with someone else breaks me. I felt like tears were about to stream down my face. I slapped my face hard to prevent myself from crying as I then walked in my class. When I sat down I saw Lui and Chloe walk into the class. I diverted my attention away from them as I then tried to see what I got on my test.

(67?........did I stare at her too much?) I felt something hit my head when I was in a state of thought. I grabbed the crumpled paper that was thrown on my head and opened it.

'Weirdo!'

I stared at that word for a long period of time till I crumpled it back up.

(this again huh?.......) I laid my head in my arms and closed my eyes. When I awoke the class was already over. I left the classroom and went to find my locker. I walked down the empty hallways and then stopped at my locker. When I opened it I put some of my stuff in and then closed it. When I was about to turn around and leave I felt my head slam against the lockers.

(Ow......)

"Hey weirdo! You know staring at Lui is a bit weird don't ya think?!"

"I wasn't staring at h-" One of Lui's friends slammed my head against the lockers again.

"Shut it." They then slammed my head again one last time and then left. My body leaned against the lockers when she loosened her grip. I slowly pushed myself off against the lockers as I then realized there was blood on my locker. I started to wipe it off with my sleeves as my sleeves then got stained with blood. I touched my head ever so and my fingers got blood on it. I went to the bathroom and grabbed a wet paper towel. I pressed it against my head gently as I felt the wound sting.

(owie.......) I started to walk out of the bathroom and bumped into someone.

"A-ah s-sorry."

"Mumei?" I looked up and saw Kronii.

"What happened to your head?"

"O-oh, I bumped into the lockers." Kronii grabbed my hand tightly and led me to the infirmary room.

"Kronii, I'm fine." Kronii grabbed some plasters from the cabinet and then walked back over to me. She then started to disinfect the wound and put the plaster on.

I looked down at the floor from embarrassment. I felt Kronii's hand lifting my chin up. My heart started to flutter just from a simple move like that. Kronii's big sapphire eyes stared at me. Kronii then sighed and sat on a chair.

"Are you going to tell me what happened?"

"I-I told you I b-bumped into the lockers."

"Mumei, I'm not 40 yrs old like most teachers here ok, now tell me the truth." I sat there in silence not wanting to tell. We stayed like this in the room for a long time till Kronii stood up and started to walk towards the door.

"Just.....don't get hurt again."
