Jake was still at home in his office, finishing his last touch on the magazines. He sends the designs to his boss once they are finished. Jake was going to head into the shower until Heeseung called him about the 7th time today.

"Heeseung is everything ok—Jake gets cut off by Heeseung. "JAKE!" Heeseung said with a shout. Jake was confused by Heeseung's sudden tone. "Sunghoon is in the hospital," Heeseung said with fear and worry.

Jake dropped his phone, leaving Heeseung calling his name multiple times. Jake rushes into the living room, grabs his keys, and leaves.
the door to head to the hospital.

Jake starts to shake when putting the keys in, and the reason why is that he has gained a liking for Sunghoon but doesn't want to admit it.

Jake was very worried about Sunghoon being okay. He then managed to put the keys in and make sure to get straight to the hospital. Jake arrived at the hospital and parked his car.

He goes toward the front desk, stating his name, to see Sunghoon. The woman told him the room number, and he started speed-walking down the hallway.

Jake opens the door and sees Sunghoon lying in the bed unconsciously with pale lips and a bandage wrapped around his head with his leg in the air.

While Sunoo, Heeseung, Jay, and Jungwon had a worried look on their faces, Si-woo let
His tears fall. Sunoo is trying to calm him down on his lap.

"Is he okay" Jake said it with worry and also got teary-eyed. Jake doesn't want to repeat the same scene where Si-woo's mom passed away. Heeseung clears his throat to not crack his voice.

"Well, the nurse said he would be in a coma for some time, either years, weeks, or days," Heeseung said, worried. Jake was shocked, as his tears couldn't be held any longer.

Jake felt like he should've let Sunghoon have the chance to be with him before he got into this situation.

"Why am I even thinking that anyway I don't even like Sunghoon". Jake thought. Jake felt fear for what would happen to Sunghoon next. Si-woo ran to his papa and started apologizing.

"I'm sorry, papa; it's my fault. If I had warned Sunghoon about that person, he would not have been hurt so badly." Si-woo said with tears, sniffing and hugging his papa by his neck.

Jake's heart almost cracked. Si-woo should never feel blamed for something that's not his fault.

"Si-woo, it's not your fault; don't think that. Okay, it's no one's fault but the person who did it." Jake said, trying to maintain his angered emotions, Whoever did it to Sunghoon,

"No matter how long it takes for Sunghoon to wake up, who will be by his side, and that is us and the rest of us" Jake said, tears falling out of his eyes with a smile.

Jay went over to the side of the Sunghoon hospital bed. "Look here, you idiot. When I said you're alive I see, that didn't mean you had to be on the verge of dying. Wake up," Jay said, laughing with tears.

"Exactly, we were only joking; we didn't mean to do it for real," Niki said. "Next time, I won't joke about it because it seems like jokes do come true," Niki said with a laugh. Jay gave him a look, then couldn't hold his laugh in.

The rest of them laugh as well at the chaotic trio between those two.

Si-woo smiled and wiped his papa's tears as his papa wiped his. The rest smiled, sniffling, and went to hug Jake and Si-woo.

Jake tells the rest that they should go home and get some rest. Jake told Si-woo to go with his uncles, but Si-woo wanted to stay with his papa.

Jake couldn't say no, but he told him only for one night.

Jake grabs Sunghoon's hand and gives it a little squeeze, and Si-woo does the same.

Jake sits in the recliner chair with Si-woo in his lap, lying on his shoulder. Jake kisses Si-woo's head as Si-woo drifts off to sleep. Jake falls asleep right after.

In a few minutes, the nurse comes in to check on everything. She sees Jake and Si-woo laying on the recliner. The nurse exits and then comes back a few seconds later with a blanket. She laid it down on them and smiled.

The nurse hope everything will be fine with the patient Sunghoon. The doctors told her it's been a official Sunghoon will wake up in a week of how badly the injuries occurred.

It's been days, weeks, and almost a month now, and Sunghoon hasn't awakened yet. Jake cried every day, hoping Sunghoon would wake up. He doesn't even know why he wants Sunghoon to
be awakened badly.

Jake thought to himself: is he developing feelings for Sunghoon or does he just care about him?

But Jake doesn't want that to happen because he doesn't want to get played with his feelings.

He wants a relationship that is long-lasting and healthy that's all he asks for, nothing more than hoping that someone reaches those expectations.
