Jay parked the car along with Sunghoon in the passenger seat at the Sunshine Coast Animal
Shelter. Sunghoon and Jay walked inside the shelter.

"Hello, did you keep the two dogs safe and sound as I asked" Sunghoon said, staring the worker down with no expression. The worker straightened up, feeling imitated, and made the gesture of telling Sunghoon to follow her.

Sunghoon followed the worker as they entered a room with Layla lying down on her couch bed and Gaeul sitting up as a princess in her bed.

Once the door opened widely, Gaeul set her eyes on Sunghoon and cutely hopped off of her couch bed, cutely walking to Sunghoon. Sunghoon couldn't help but smile, saying that his teeth were as bright as white and his fangs were visible.

The worker couldn't help but smile. He is just a young adult who is a rich man who seems to be imitating but has a heart full of gold.

Sunghoon saw Layla looking at him. Sunghoon whistles at Layla to come here with a smile to gain her trust. But Layla didn't hesitate to come, as she knew that he was with Jake. Gaeul and Layla were by Sunghoon side happy.

"So is that a sign of adoption" the worker said with a smile. Sunghoon nodded with a smile. The worker went back to her front desk, along with Sunghoon behind her.

She passes Sunghoon papers to fill out paperwork on a clipboard. There was information on Layla and Gaeul, like how old they are, when their birthdays are, what they are allergic to, etc.

Layla is 8 years old, as her birthday is November 31 and Gaeul's birthday is July 8. Sunghoon read over the paperwork carefully and signed it one by one.

Once the worker was done checking the two items off of her list as adopted and typing all the information on her computer, she crouched down with teary eyes. She was really happy they found a home and a good owner. They've been through a lot.

She has also gotten attached to them, but it's time for them to have a wonderful life in their new home.

She hugs them, gives them a kiss goodbye, as Layla was in a good mood, and licks her cheek. Gaeul leans in her touch and puts her little nose against the worker's nose. It's their way of saying goodbye or showing affection to one another.

Sunghoon smiles, as he is grateful that the worker took good care of them. "Uhh, I'm sorry if I scared you. I seem to always give the wrong impression of myself to others, and I thank you for keeping your promise to take care of the dogs," Sunghoon said, rubbing the back of his neck with a smile.

The worker shook her head with a smile as she stood right back up. "Don't worry, I'm just glad these babies have a home now," she said.

"This is a gift from me and the dogs; no takebacks; it's for you to keep," Sunghoon said as he gave her one million won out of his wallet. ($751.64) dollars.

Before the worker could say a word, Sunghoon walked away closely to the door with Layla and Gaeul, with their birth certificates in their hands, and waved goodbye with a smile. She shook her head, chuckled, and looked at the babies that were finally in the good hands of a good-hearted man.

Jake and Si-woo decided to go grocery shopping to get the supplies for baking cookies.

While Si-woo and Jake walked down the isles, Si-woo walked to the shelf and picked out shapes and tools for the cookies, like pompompurin, pochacco, and Keroppi, since those were his favorite characters.

Jake laughed at how cute Si-woo is. Jake put four cartons of eggs in his shopping cart. Baking soda, vanilla extract, etc.

Jake told Si-woo he could get something extra, so Si-woo went to the candy isle and got gummy bears and gummy worms. Si-woo goes back to his papa and smiles, holding up the candy, which he then places in the cart.

Jake shakes his head but is happy anyway since they will be sharing their favorite candy.

Jake and Si-woo walk to the cash register. Jake had this urge to feel that someone was following them, so he constantly looked left and right, but there was no one.

Jake shakes off the thought and waits to pay for all the things. Jake took out his wallet and slid his card onto the payment terminal.

Everything was in the cart in a grocery bag. Jake and Si-woo walked out of the store. Jake put the bags in the car along with his little helper, Si-woo.

Once they were done putting the bags in, they strapped them in and headed home. Jake and Si-woo grabbed the bags and sat them on the ground for Jake to open the door.

They went inside, sat the bags on the floor, and went back to the car to go get the rest of the bags. Jake and Si-woo were finally done putting all the bags in the house and locked the door.

Jake took all the ingredients to the counter while Si-woo was passing the rest to his papa. Since they had to wait for Sunghoon,.

Si-woo came up with an idea and went to grab a puzzle for them to keep themselves entertained.

Jake had an idea, snuck his hand, took a puzzle piece, and put it in his pocket. Si-woo would finish putting the puzzle pieces together, and he would be done.

Si-woo looked at his papa with his arms crossed, as he was not dumb enough to know his papa took the puzzle piece because he thought he wasn't "looking."

"Papa, give it up," Si-woo said with a smile. "What do you mean, I don't have it" Jake said, pretending like he doesn't and shrugging his shoulders.

"Papa, empty your pockets," Si-woo said, giggling. Jake just looks around, like he doesn't have it. "What pockets, I don't have any pockets," Jake said, shrugging with a slight smile. "Papa," Si-woo said with a little glare.

"Alright, alright, I surrender," said Jake with a smile and laughter as he handed Si-will the last piece of the puzzle.

Si-woo placed the last piece of the puzzle. Jake and Si-woo cheered. Jake picked up Si-woo and swung him around as Si-woo laughed and told his papa to put him down.

A knock was heard at the door as they wondered who that might be. Jake puts Si-woo down gently, walks to the door, and opens it. Jake smiles, as the tall figure is Sunghoon.

"It looks like you're happy to see me keep doing that smile. I love it, and I need to get used to it. Also, there's a surprise for you and Si-woo," Sunghoon said with a smile.

Jake blushes, and Si-woo's eyes lighten as he hears the word surprise for them. Jake and Si-woo were curious what exactly the surprise was.
