"Okay, take this one." Ally said grinning and standing in front of the Ferris wheel.
Snap! Griffin took the picture and waited for it to come out, so he could add it to his bag.
"Wait let me see it this time." Ally said, running over.
The picture was developing and Ally loved it. The lights from the Ferris wheel bounced around the photo and it lit Ally's smile.
"It turned out good." Griffin commented, putting it away.
"Come on, lets go on it again." Ally said, taking Griffin's hand and pulling him towards the line. It was getting darker and the night was turning on. It was so pretty seeing the lights everywhere, and from the top of the Ferris wheel it's like you can see the world.
"Next." The person letting people on the ride said. Ally and Griffin went ahead and sat down beside each other. Griffin took Ally's hand and she rested her head on his shoulder.
They looked out into the fair grounds, enjoying the view. There were kids running around, booths with prizes strung up, and rides spinning.
All of a sudden there was a jolt in the seat and the wheel stopped turning. After a moment of confusion someone with a mage phone yelled up, "Sorry for the delay folks but there's a malfunction. We'll try to fix it as soon as we can."
There were several groans from frustrated parents who just wanted to go home, but Griffin laughed.
"What's so funny?" Ally asked, looking up.
"Nothing." He chuckled, "It's just incredibly cheesy."
"At least it's cheesy with you." Ally said, nudging her shoulder into Griffin's.
Griffin gave her a look, "You know I really really like you right?"
Ally smiled, "I really really like you too."
"We should do something over Christmas break together. Just you and I." Griffin said.
"I thought we're doing something now?"
"You're funny. I mean, let's go on more dates, or go somewhere." Griffin said, squeezing Ally's hand.
"Okay. That sounds fun." Ally said, "We should make a bucket list."
"Go to a drive in movie." Griffin said.
"Too bad it didn't snow here ever. I would want to build a snowman." Ally sighed. They lived in Florida and it rarely snowed. Griffin nodded.
"Go bowling." Griffin continued.
"Bowling?" Ally asked, taken back.
"Yeah, it'll be fun." Griffin defended.
"I'm terrible though." Ally said, looking up at Griffin.
"I'll teach you. Sound good?" Griffin said.
"Sounds good." Ally smiled.
Just then the wheel came to life again and started to turn. The crowd cried out with joy.
"I guess our cheesy moment has passed." Ally said, smiling.
"It doesn't have to." Griffin said in earnest.
Ally gave him a questioned look. "Lets go somewhere else." Griffin continued.
Ally laughed, "It's getting late and we're already here."
Griffin shrugged, "It's not too late."
Ally smiled as their cart came to a stop at the bottom, "Okay. Lets go do something."
