Mikey woke up from her peaceful little nap after helping her newly found sister finally get to sleep. This huge bombshell had been awful on her. She had lived with the Fosters all her life, they were her parents and had never told her anything different, and now she learns that they are not her parents, she has not only a sister but a twin, and her parents that didn't want her when she was first born helped people kidnap her and her sister to get to their grandma who neither of them had ever met and thought was dead. So ya it had been a really rough day on both of them. A tiny bit easier on Mikey, however, because even though her parents still didn't want her she hadn't been living a lie all her life.
As Ari woke up she looked over to see her sister, well twin, standing by the prison door. "Mikey? Are you ok?" She asked her sister worried that this whole thing was hurting her worse then she let on, she had already cried about it once and Mikey never cried.
"Oh!" Mikey said as she jumped and turned around to face her sister obviously not realizing that she was up yet. "Yes I'm fine, just thinking."
"Do you know anything about your, I mean our grandma?" Ari asked trying to get use to the idea that she had a completely different family. "Because the old man in the shades said he was after our grandma, so I guess we're just bait. My question is though why didn't they use our parents as bait when they had them?" She wondered out loud to herself more then to Mikey.
"Well my, I mean our parents never even talked about Grandma, I mean they acted like she was dead so I doubt they have anything to do with her anymore. If that's true then I doubt Grandma would care that they were being held hostage." Mikey explained.
"Ya I suppose that's true, we'll why do they want grandma anyway?" Ari questioned.
"Hmm," Mikey hummed slightly as she thought about Ari's question. "Well I'm not sure, why don't we ask?"
"Well who's gonna tell us?" Ari asked thinking that no one would even talk to them.
"Maybe the young guy who's guarding the door at the end of the hall?" Mikey said with a sly smile.
"Oh!" Ari said, her own sly smile surfacing. "Hey isn't that the guy that put you in the laundry bag before he brought you here?" Ari questioned. "What was his name? Oh ya Kevin!"
"Well I wouldn't know hun I was unconscious." Mikey explained, knowing that her sister already knew that.
"Ha well yes I know that, I was just saying. Well anyway that guy was really careful about putting you in the bag and when Spider threw you at Kevin he made sure to catch you so I think something might be going on with him." Ari said slighly catching Mikey's attention.
"Hmm," Mikey said as she went to the cell door to call Kevin over and try to get some information. Just before she called his name she realized that there was another guy beside Kevin that they hadn't seen, and that guy did not look like he was going to give them any information or let Kevin give any. "Oh great," Ari said as she noticed the guy. "There is no way we can get Kevin's help now." She pouted.
Just then Spider came through the door holding two trays of food, which the girls supposed were either for them or for the two guards but they were hoping that it was for them, they hadn't eaten since the peanuts on the flight to Las.Vegas and had gotten really hungry.
Spider walked past the two guards, who sniffed the air as he did, heading towards Mikey and Ari after he took the cell keys from Kevin. "Here's your food." He told them as he put the keys in the lock and opened the door to give them their food.
"Uh thanks?" Mikey said not sure if she should be polite or not. If she was nice they would get food but if she was mean to him the food would probably stop.
