"Hmm, well what do you think the password is?" Ari asked, laughing in amusement at herself upon seeing the lock.
"Well, I guess we will have to piece together everything we've learned about Grandma and decide the best options for the password.
"Ok, well we know she's the leader of this group. We know she wants to help the people like us with powers." Ari stated.
Continuing the list Mikey went on. "She seems to truly care about us, and wants us to be safe."
"Yes she does!" Ari agreed. "But she also seems to care about everyone who works for her and everyone that she can possibly help."
Mikey and Ari stood there for a few minutes taking in all these facts.
"You know maybe it's not even anything about what we just said. If you're going to have a password lock you wouldn't put the password as something people would think of. Out of everything we've learned about her what is the one thing we or anyone else wouldn't think of as a password?" Mikey asked Ari. After a small moment of silence Ari answered.
"The only thing I can really think of is her hatred towards Triss and Kevin's father."
"Exactly! Who would think that a password to a secret room would be the name of the man that she's conspiring against!"
"That's brilliant!" Ari exclaimed. "Let's try it!"
So Mikey typed in Triss and Kevin's father's name, crossing her fingers that they were right. If they were wrong then she new they had absolutely no idea what the password could be.
Waiting anxiously Ari watched her sister push in the letters.
Click! Ari heard coming from the keypad. "Does that click mean we were right or that we were wrong." Ari asked to herself."We were right!" Mikey exclaimed loudly as she pulled the door open. Both girls walked through the door shutting it behind them.
"That was actually really exciting!" Ari exclaimed as they walked through the hall.
"Yes, it was very stimulating." Mikey responded as they came to another door. The door is front of them, and every door they saw ahead of them, had markers on the top of them telling what each room was used for. The girls walked up to the first door they saw. It was marked as Lunch, pretty explanatory actually, so the girls figured it was just the Lunch room where all the kids with special powers ate. Which was actually kind of weird considering there was a kitchen outside the locked door, but this room was either a just in case room or a room only for the special kids. Since there were a lot more exciting rooms to cover the girls decided to move on to another door.
"I wonder what they use the computer room for." Ari wondered aloud as they went to another door.
"Well," Mikey answered. "They have to be able to find the people with special powers like us somewhere. Maybe they somehow use computers for that."
"That's very good reasoning." Ari answered as she smiled brightly at her sister.
The two girls continued to walk down the long hall. Door after door they read what they were called and discussed why they would be called that. After what seemed like hours they finally came to the end of the hall to a door marked exercise.
"I think that's more self explanatory then lunch is." Ari said to her sister as both girls laughed. Ari reached for the door. "I really hope it's not locked" she said laughingly.
Walking through the door they came face to face with the biggest gym they had ever seen. The row of at least fifty treadmills lined only half of one wall of the gym. Then there was a long row of all different sizes of weights, and of course a baby blue exercise ball. And that was not even half of the gym they stared mouth open at. Half the stuff they didn't even know what it was. Then next to all this fancy equipment was a huge swimming pool that looked to be heated.
"This room is amazing!" Ari squealed excitedly like a giddy little school girl. "You want to try some of this stuff out?"
"Of course I do!" Mikey exclaimed as she jumped on one of the treadmills and started running. Laughing and running almost out of breath as she continued to run, she closed her eyes trying to saver the moment. "So Ari you having fun" Mikey asked her sister, still with her eyes closed.
After what seemed like forever and Ari still hadn't responded Mikey opened her eyes so she could see why her sister wasn't answering her. Mikey lost her breath in shock as she saw her treadmill floating high enough that her head was almost touching the ceiling. That wasn't what shocked her so much though, she had seen things floating when she was little and thought she was somehow imagining things, but this time she wasn't picking up a pile of spoons and forks with her mind. Now she looked in front of her and saw every single thing in that wonderful gym they had just walked in a few minutes ago was floating about the same height as the treadmill she was currently on, everything including her sister. Mikey just stared in shock. "What do I do to put everything back down?!" She asked aloud.
Ari started cracking up laughing. "Don't worry Mikey it'll be ok." Ari said to her sister seeing her worried expression due to not knowing what to do next.
"Ok ok." Mikey said in deep breaths mostly to herself. "So Ari what do I do?"
"Just relax your thoughts again like you did before. The whole reason we're up here is because when you get excited or relaxed your powers come out, so just breath evenly and if it helps close your eyes again."
Mikey stared at her sister for a few minutes. "Ok,I got this." Mikey finally answer. Closing her eyes really tight she tried to put everything back on the ground. "Ugh! It's not working!" She finally said after trying for over three minutes.
"Of course it's not working you're way to excited still, try not to close your eyes so tight just relax act like you're sleeping if you need to."
Slowing her breathing down to a normal pace she finally began to float everything back down to the floor. "I did it!" Mikey exclaimed as they finally reached the floor.
"I knew you could." Ari responded to her sister laughing in amusement.
"We can help you learn to control that." Shocked Ari and Mickey turned around.
"Oh hi Nina." Mikey responded. She still couldn't call her Grandma yet, she had come to terms with the fact that Nina was her Grandma, but she just couldn't admit it out loud yet. Her horrible life she had lived growing up with her parents and her "Grandma" had seen her misery and hadn't done anything about it. How could she ever call someone like that her family.
"Do you want to learn how to control your powers? If you do we can help you with that too, we've already gathered you girls want to help us since you came through the door but do you want to learn to use your powers?"
After a long pause Mikey stood up as tall as she could. "Yes, yes i do."
Nina smiled, "good."
