Cougar Creek

Chapter Three

     We got gas on the way. Every time I mentioned we were going to Cougar Creek they always gave us a weird look. I brushed it off because I thought nothing of it. 3ish is when we arrived. We pulled up to the cabin, bigger than what the pictures made it seem. We got the bags and opened the door.
"Wooaaahhh, how much did your dad pay for this place?"
Laila asked
"Not sure, he didn't say."
I said.
"IM GOING TO CLAIM MY ROOM!"
Alya yelled running upstairs.
"Hey! Wait for meee!"
Jonesy ran after her.
We heard a big thump than,
"OWWWW!"
Alya screamed
"OH MY GOD BABE ARE YOU OKAY?"
Jonesy was laughing. I laughed and everyone settled in their rooms.

   After a bit of unpacking, we settled in and sat in the living room.
"So, what should we do?"
I asked
"While there is still daylight someone can go get some fire wood?"
Lazarus replied
"Well since you said something guess your someone that volunteers"
Jonesy joked
"Jaylyn mentioned how she wanted to have a fire pit so..."
Lazarus shrugged
"So you and Jonesy will go get fire wood then."
I said
"WHAT?! I DIDNT AGREE." 
Jonesy yelled
"Hey you called him out."
I shrugged
Jonesy rolled his eyes
"Fine! I'll go."
"While you guys do that we'll find something to do here."
They walked into the forest and we prepared the fire fit and made sure we had all stuff for s'mores.

   It was getting late and still no sign of the boys. It was starting to get dark and me and Alya went out to go find them.
"What did those 2 idiots get themselves into?"
I asked rolling my eyes.
"I don't know I just hope they are okay I'm worried."
Alya was looking all around her
"They probably got themselves lost or something.."
I said. Alya started giggling
"Imagine Jonesy fell into a hole or something"
"Heh, yeah, just like how he got stuck in a bathtub"
We were laughing at old memories to make ourselves feel better.

   We didn't want to venture out too far but we didn't know where they went, they were not answering their phone.
"Okay where the fuck are these guys."
I yelled
"Wait hold on, do you think I could try checking their location?"
Alya went on her phone
"Oh yeahhhhh I forgot about that."
We checked their location, it said that they were near by.
"LAZARUS! JONESY! THIS ISNT FUNNY WHERE ARE YOU GUYS?!"
we started calling out to them. We heard rustling from the bushes and footsteps.
"Jonesy?? Lazarus?? Is that you guys?"
I asked
We heard the footsteps getting closer, we heard them getting heavier and heavier.
"Uhmmm Jay...?"
Alya held onto my arm her grip kept getting tighter as the foot steps crept closer. Our hearts were beating fast, it felt felt as if they were getting louder. We started backing up slowly. Then, the footsteps came to a sudden stop.
