Sumin looked down at the blinking light on his watch with an intense frown - one of the members was sending an SOS. He quickly ran up the stairs, making it to the main room and quickly pushing Junmin away from his desk. "What the f-?!"
"One of us is sending an SOS," Sumin said, quickly holding the watch to the scanner beside the screen.
"What are you talking about?" Jummin asked with a confused tone. "Everyone has backup-"
"Minjae hyung," Sumin concluded quickly. He stared at the location that Minjae pinged, his panic slowly shifting to confusion. "Above us...?"
"Rooftop," Junmin said quickly. "He went up alone about fifteen minutes ago - said he had to think. My drone's been down all day so far - and Jinsik's been missing, too."
"Back me up in case of an intruder," Sumin said, hurriedly loading one of the rifles on the table. "Stay close. Take that P90."
Sumin quickly loaded a stim gun and ran up the stairs, trying to keep his steps light. Junmin followed behind him almost immediately, making it to the rooftop. The door was open, and instead of being quiet about it, Sumin busted through and held his gun up.
"Minjae hyung, get down!"
"Sumin, stand down!" Minjae had firm eyes, eyes flicking quickly over to Sumin and Junmin. "Stand down. It's K. Don't kill him."
"But you-"
"Back me up to make sure he doesn't do anything," Minjae said softly. "I'm going to explain it to my boys, okay? They deserve to know what's going on." The Japanese man not too far from them simply shrugged. "K wants my Signet."
"Yeah, fat chance-"
"Let me continue, Sumin," Minjae interrupted. "I'm going to give it to him. What you're gonna do is shoot him in the ankles because he's unarmed right now and take that knowledge capsule off him."
"Who said I'm unar-"
"Sumin," Minjae said flatly. "Injure him."
As expected, K had a gun as well. He reached to his back, quickly aiming at Sumin, but of course, he was outnumbered at that moment. Sumin and Junmin both shot at K, being careful not to hurt him fatally. K managed to shoot Junmin in his shoulder, but Sumin somehow got away unscathed. K stumbled to the ground, muttering curses as his SMG skidded off to the side.
Minjae clenched his hand as a rifle formed in his hand. "My boys won't betray me - don't ever try to make me doubt them ever again. Jinsik makes mistakes, but he wouldn't ever betray us." He pointed the gun at K, his blank stare turning into a glare. "I hate you so damn much. You're so fucking petty."
"Then kill me, you little shit," K spat, speaking through gritted teeth. "If you hate me so much, get rid of me. You have the opportunity."
"I'd rather not cause any further strife between XIKERS and Ghosteye. I'll kill you myself when the time comes for it." Minjae pressed the nozzle to K's head. "That time might be now if you don't tell me where Jinsik is."
"He's not too far from here," K smirked. "He might be bleeding out, though. Better hurry up before your right-hand man dies."
"Tell me where the fuck he is, you fucking bastard! I'm not afraid to fucking kill you!" Minjae yelled angrily. "You mean nothing to me! Sayuri meant nothing to me! Obviously I just used DUEN to strengthen myself-"
"I never wanted you in our family!" Silence fell over them. "Why did mom take in you ungrateful bastard? Look at you - saying she never meant anything to you. I bet you felt nothing when you killed her-"
