i opened the door to my flower shop, the scents of the flowers bloomed filling the whole place, although it's quite small, it's very cute. with all the little decorations i neatly placed everywhere, the numerous types of flowers organized for selling.
it was so therapeutic for me to come to this everyday, as a florist, i loved seeing these people come over and buy someone's favorite flowers or even for themselves with the biggest smile on their faces.
as i settled in for the day, i got so many customers "business is BLOWING UP today" i thought to myself
after about 12 customers, a guy entered my shop looking...quite handsome ngl, especially with those dark clothes.
i was so lost in his features, i almost completely forgot to assist him. he got me kinda nervous for some reason but i tried to keep it cool.
"hey, uhm i wanted to get a daisy bouquet please?" the guy asked innocently.
"he has a girlfriend for sure" i thought.
"sure!" i said nodding.
i made the bouquet for him, focusing on each and every detail, before handing it to him with a smile on my face
"thanks!" he exclaimed with a cute smile.
and just like that, he paid and left the shop, leaving me so curious about him. he seemed nice, but something about him was kinda off.
time skip~the next day: i woke up from my short slumber which didn't really do anything since i had a pounding headache which was quite annoying, so i dragged myself to the kitchen and took a painkiller pill. then turning my feet back to the living room, a flower bouquet caught my eye.
"i don't remember putting no shit on this coffee table..what the fuck"
a/n pov to be specific, those flowers were daisies, and the bouquet looked like the exact same one you made for that dude yesterday, quite weird you realize it's the same but you wrapped the flowers in a pretty unique ribbon, and you literally sold no daises to nobody yesterday besides him.
you could've sworn it's the same.
it was getting quite creepy but you tried to get your mind off of it and left off to work. throwing it out beforehand. then making sure u locked your door before heading out. since you usually do but this got you overthinking.
arriving at the shop, doing your usual daily job, the same guy entered the shop, with the same smile on his face.
you felt kinda tense but you needed to continue on with your job since you had no choice.
"how can i help you today sir?" you said with a light smile.
"same as yesterday" he grinned. "daisies..please"
you just nodded and started preparing the bouquet as he interrupted by saying;
"oh yeah before i forget, i need a card with it too"
you took out a card and a pen as you asked him what he wanted written on it.
"i'll be watching you from afar, darling"
you felt kinda sad for him as you thought his lover had passed away, but still, you felt uneasy after what you saw this morning. it was quite traumatizing and hard to not think about it but you tried.
there's no way. how tf. i'm hallucinating. you thought to yourself
you placed the card in the bouquet giving it to him, as he payed and left with a smirk that seemed quite scary. it sent shivers down your spine in a not so pleasant way.
you just shrugged, then packing your stuff up and closing the place, going back to your house after a long tiring day.
soon as you arrived, taking your shoes off , you went to your living room plopping yourself on your couch, when the same odd scenario happened. you again, found daisies on your table.
you were shaking at this point, as terror took its place in your system, you picked up the bouquet only to drop a card.
where there was written;
"i'll be watching you from afar, darling" -your secret admirer
and there he was, looking at you through your window, with a satisfied smug look on his face seeing your shaky figure.
