it was a normal day for you like any other day, or atleast you first thought..
your husband, han was at work like usual, and you were taking care of your 4 year old daughter, jiwoo.

y/n: come wear your clothes baby *i said with the little bit of energy i have left, while jiwoo was laughing and fooling around the room naked after a shower*
jiwoo you'll catch a cold come on *i say gradually getting mad but trying to stay calm*

after many tries, you managed to get a hold of her and get her in her clothes when she suddenly asked you

jiwoo: eomma...can i please go to grandmas and stay for the weekend please please pleaseee *she said giving you her irresistable puppy eyes*

you sighed and nodded as she giggled happily letting out a little "yay" then started playing with her toys while you packed her bag , and once you finished, you held her in your arms and went out to your car driving her to your parents' house.
arriving there and bidding your goodbyes, you felt completely exhausted yet in some way you couldn't feel anything too.

you arrived home later on, opening the door and plopping the keys in the key bowl (lets just call it that😭)
barely taking a few steps into the living room, you saw rose petals neatly placed one by one everywhere, candles here and there that smelled like your favorite scent, lavender, it really calmed you down.
in addition to that a spontaneous round dinner table, "decorated" with some scrumptious looking foods that were all your favorite.

you couldn't believe your sight, when adding to that, the love of your life, came backhugging you sweetly, head on your shoulder pecking ur right cheek

you didn't waste a second turning around and immediately embracing him in the tightest hug that was gonna leave him out of breath soon enough.

you were so....stunned but beyond grateful .
you then pulled out, as the both of you were staring into eachother's eyes as if it was the last time you'll see eachother.
and that's when han slowly started leaning into your touch, closing the gap between you two, as your lips collided on his.

he tasted like raspberries.

you were curious if it was his favorite lip balm or the raspberries he used to decorate the cake you saw earlier on the table, cause you were sure he probably ate some while preparing it for you.

his arm snaked around ur waist while his other hand made its way to ur chin as he held it in between his fingers, controlling the kiss, taking the lead.

this moment was all you ever needed. since you two barely get to savor any time together, since he's usually at work and you're taking care of jiwoo.

this was perfect.

you pulled out, both of ur lips forming a smile, behind it feeling relief and happiness.

han: i missed you baby. i miss us. i wanted us to have some time alone. you and me. *he says, eyes sparkling in the mildly-ish dark room*

y/n: thank you baby, you didn't have to do all of this. it's too much and you're already tired enoug-

han cut you off placing his index finger on ur lips, shushing you before you even continued.

han: baby, you know how much we both need this. we need some time together. a break. don't say that as if you're not tired too. you're working more than i am..staying with jiwoo all day everyday.
i'm so thankful to have you and our beautiful daughter baby, but you can't forget yourself too even when putting all your effort into taking care of her.
plus, it's just us in this house tonight, and i just wanna be with you even if it's just for the rest of today. i'd do all it takes to spend even one night  with you my love.
let your worries go, just for this day
so..let's just relax and enjoy tonight, hm? *he says caressing ur cheek while smiling very genuinely*

you teared up unknowingly and just nodded as he wiped ur few tears.

by then he was holding ur hand leading you to the dinner table, located next to the massive window where was a gorgeous view infront if you. it was a beautiful sunset with perfectly layered color combinations in the sky.

han pushed ur chair backwards, helping you adjust it as he made his was to his seat.

y/n: the view is so pretty today *i say admiring the view*

he just gazed at you, arms on the table, his palm holding his chin

han: it really is. *he says eyes never leaving the sight if you*

at that moment, your eyes traveled to meet his, noticing his point. he never fails to leave you flustered AS HELL

y/n: yah stop looking at me like that! you're still so flirty. *i say laughing*

han laughs along

han: why? you look absolutely breathtaking my queen *he says showing you his famous gummy smile*

you guys chatted for a bit before you started enjoying your food with him.
and out of nowhere he started feeding you, but you didn't mind, it made you feel loved and special.

after being all lovey dovey (LOVEY LOVEY LOVEY DOVEY DOVEY DOVEY-)
you looked at ur king with much adoration

y/n: tonight meant the world to me my love, i really needed this. thank you so much baby. you honestly helped me relieve so much stress.
i feel like the old days when we were dating.
now we're way past that level, and i'm so grateful for you and jiwoo, thank you for always making me happy. *i expressed as we both held hands*

han: this is the bare minimum i can do baby, i know i'll never be able to feel the tiredness you do 100%, but i understand that it's all
not easy. but you know we have eachother right? we'll overcome anything and everything together, like always. and we'll fight everything to make jiwoo happy. you don't need to worry about anything love, it'll all be okay.
trust me.

at this point we were both on the verge of crying rivers of tears, tears of pure joy though and nothing else.
