"Well she certainly knows how to play the Game." Moira said, brushing a piece of stray hair from Kylo's shoulder, "She'll be all the Capitol talks about tomorrow."
Kylo sat in the kitchen with his brother and Moira once they got back from the dinner party. The two had been avoiding each other all night, especially on the car ride home. You could feel the tension radiating off of each other like a furnace.
"We had a plan." Finnick sighed in defeat, rubbing his forehead, "What happened to the plan?"
"She decided to boycott it." Kylo said in a venomous tone.
Never in his life, did Kylo feel as angry as he did in that moment. Mallory fraternized with the person who had been sending daggers their way the entire Chariot Ride. He felt... betrayed by her.
One of the only people he felt he could trust in the Games had went behind his back.
"Why would she do that?" Kylo thought to himself.
"I could go talk to her-" Moira began.
"No." Finnick sighed, "If we talk about it now it'll just start an argument. She made her decision and now she has to deal with it."
"I need to go for a walk." Kylo said, standing up from the table.
"Oh, Kylo, it's late, you'll be tired in the morning." The woman's voice said.
Kylo disagreed, "I'll be okay, Moira."
Finnick watched his brother stand up from the table, taking off his white dress coat and putting it on the table. The young teen then excused himself from the table before walking to the suite door and exiting.

Kylo found himself wandering the never ending halls of the Tribute Center. Despite the dark meaning for the place, he couldn't help but think that it was peaceful. There wasn't one person to be found roaming the building in the dead of night like him.
He then entered the elevator and scanned the options. As he clicked a button, the word 'ROOFTOP' illuminated. Kylo held his breath as he felt the elevator shoot towards the top of the building. After a moment, the doors opened revealing the bright lights of the Capitol.
Kylo silently wandered the rooftop for a moment. It was definitely a sight he had never seen before. He closed his eyes and took in all the noises: the humming of electricity, the shouts and voices echoing the streets below him, the way the wind sounded when it rushed against the building. It was all new to him.
He walked towards the ledge of the building, peering over the wall. Kylo felt his stomach drop when he realized how high up he really was. His eyes looked for a moment longer before he took a step back and sighed deeply.
