Knocking on Beomgyu's door a few times, Choi Yeonjun, Beomgyu's secretary, entered the room. Seeing his best friend completely zoned out, Yeonjun couldn't help but burst into laughter, catching Beomgyu's attention.

"I see, I see, the upcoming wedding is weighing heavily on our dear Beomgyu's heart," teased Yeonjun.

Rolling his eyes, Beomgyu retorted, "I'm just not in the mood."

"What's wrong? Normally, the groom would be hyper and excited, but you're the polar opposite of that."

"This marriage is arranged; there's a very low chance she might actually fall in love with me."

"So, are you saying there's a possibility that you might start loving her first?"

Beomgyu leaned back in his chair, closing his eyes, and couldn't help but think about Minji's smile, the way she looked at him, and all the little things she did. Her mere presence seemed to stir something inside him, feelings he had never experienced before, and he wasn't sure what to make of it. As he opened his eyes with a soft smile, he replied, "Maybe."

"But only time will tell. For now, it's too complicated to explain."

Yeonjun chuckled at his friend and teased, "Ooh, I think you're already starting to like her."

Beomgyu didn't respond to that statement and got up from his seat, trying to push away the thoughts about developing feelings for Minji.

He then asked Yeonjun, "So, what are you here for?"

"Oh, my bad, I completely forgot about that. You have a meeting scheduled in about 8 more minutes."

Nodding in acknowledgment, Beomgyu began preparing for the meeting, but his mind seemed to be wandering elsewhere. Yeonjun couldn't help but smile to himself, as he had never imagined he would witness Beomgyu in such a state.

--------------------------------------------------------------

The night before the wedding, Beomgyu found it impossible to sleep. Tomorrow, he would become someone's husband, and not just anyone's, but Kim Minji's—the most popular, talented, and beautiful idol. While everyone admired her seemingly perfect life, Beomgyu knew that no one's life was flawless. He turned an old golden locket in his hands, lost in thought about the big day, when he received a notification from his friend Huening Kai. Kai also worked at Beomgyu's company, though unlike Yeonjun, he was simply an employee. Nevertheless, he was dedicated and talented. Reading the message, a small smile formed on Beomgyu's face.

Kai: Good luck for tomorrow! Both Yeonjun and I will be there for you, and try not to faint when you see your beautiful bride on stage ;)

Closing his eyes, Beomgyu couldn't help but wonder what it would have been like if his mother were still here for this wedding. Perhaps, if she were present, this marriage might never have happened, and he would have never crossed paths with Minji.

----The Wedding Day----

As she sat in the dressing room, Minji felt her heart beating at an abnormal rate. It was almost time for her to walk down the aisle and officially become someone's wife. She couldn't help but wonder what Beomgyu might be feeling at this moment. This decision was difficult for both of them, as they were now bound together forever, with no escape from the public eye. A tear rolled down Minji's face; she never wanted this, but she also didn't want her family to face trouble because of her. The door swung open, and she saw her sister Miyeon walk in.

"Aww, is this really my baby sister? You look so pretty right now," Miyeon said with a smile.

Bending down to Minji's eye level, Miyeon asked with concern, "Hey, have you been crying?"
