The day after Beomgyu's birthday dawned early for Minji, as her company had orchestrated an ambitious collaboration with Beomgyu's fashion line for an imminent event. This occasion held immense significance for her career, representing a potential turning point that could propel her to new heights.

The event in question was none other than the prestigious KMAs (Korean Music Awards), a night where the luminaries of K-pop are bestowed with the highest honour—the coveted Grand Prize (Daesang).

The prospect of being part of such a prestigious event brought a mix of excitement and nervousness to Minji's thoughts as she prepared for the day ahead. This collaboration marked a significant opportunity for her to showcase her talents on a grand stage and solidify her presence within the industry.

Having departed earlier, Beomgyu had embarked on his journey to get ready for the crucial meeting with Minji's company. In particular, this meeting was set with none other than BigHit Entertainment, which is a huge part of Hybe Labels—one of the pillars in the realm of K-pop music agencies.

The significance of this encounter was not lost on Beomgyu, as it represented a unique opportunity to forge connections within the industry and explore potential collaborations that could reshape the trajectory of both his fashion line and Minji's career.

As Minji crossed the threshold into Beomgyu's office building for the very first time, her senses were immediately captivated by an air of refined elegance that permeated the surroundings. The architectural grandeur of the establishment was evident from the outset, as towering glass windows welcomed abundant natural light, casting a warm and inviting glow upon the interior.

The opulence extended underfoot, where black and white marble floors spanned the expanse of the lobby. This intricate arrangement of contrasting hues bestowed an aura of sophistication, each step Minji took resonating with a subtle, melodious echo against the pristine surface. The marble's polished sheen seemed to mirror the aspirations of the occupants, capturing their ambitions and dreams within its reflective depths.

Within these walls, every detail appeared meticulously curated, radiating a harmonious blend of modern aesthetics and timeless grace. The architecture spoke of an artistic vision, where contemporary design harmonised with classic sensibilities. The office space exuded an aura of creativity and professionalism, a confluence that mirrored the aspirations of those who worked within its confines.

Minji embraced a distinctly professional appearance, opting for a black suit elegantly paired with a white tube top, all effortlessly complemented by a pair of sleek black heels. This ensemble exuded a sense of confidence and refinement, perfectly aligned with the gravity of the occasion.

Upon arriving at the entrance of Beomgyu's office cabin, Minji rapped her knuckles on the door, only to find herself pleasantly surprised by the presence of Yeonjun instead of Beomgyu. A smile naturally graced her lips, and Yeonjun's face mirrored her warm reception.

"Yeonjun! Hello," Minji greeted with a gracious smile, offering a respectful small bow.

Yeonjun's own smile widened as he responded to the younger girl's greeting. His hand moved to gently pat her head, a gesture that made Minji's cheeks tint with a blush.

"Good to see you again, Minji," he conveyed in a friendly tone.

Caught off guard by Yeonjun's gesture that seemed to slightly infantilise her, Minji felt her cheeks grow warmer from a mixture of embarrassment and surprise. Unbeknownst to her, as this scene unfolded, Beomgyu, who was returning to his office, felt a pang of jealousy rising within him like steam.

Beomgyu swiftly approached Minji, his arm instinctively finding its way around her waist, claiming a possessive yet subtle gesture. As his gaze met Yeonjun's, a flash of intense emotion was conveyed through a pointed glare, laden with a hint of rivalry. Yeonjun, however, responded with a knowing smirk, acknowledging the undercurrents of tension that were palpable in the air.
