                    WHEN I SENT MY naughty message to Xelios, I smirked. I deleted it and then put it on the table. Also, I activated the DND so Xelios' message wouldn't be noticed.

I applied lotion to my skin. Saktong dumating si Draven galing bathroom. He's just wearing a towel around his waist. Inalis ko ang tingin ko sakanya.

"Are you hungry?" He asked.

"Kakakain lang natin, Draven, paano ako magugutom?"

Xelios and I looked for land. Nagustuhan ko agad ang location ng unang pinuntahan namin, so I bought it in an instant.

Medyo nabibigla parin ako, because I bought the university! Maybe I can sell my shares to someone. Hindi ko rin naman kasi matututukan ang university.

Hindi katulad ng inaasahan, Xelios and I didn't end up having sex. We chose to dine at a fine restaurant.

"I'm planning to have a two-week leave this week. Are you busy? I'm planning to go out of town with you."

Draven opened the topic of going out of town. Walang ibang nasa isip ko kung hindi ang mga panlolokong ginawa niya noon.

I sighed and made a sad face. "I'll be very busy, Draven. I just bought the land for my boutique, and I want to start the construction already. I also want to be hands-on. I'll be meeting the architect, engineer, and interior designer for my boutique. I can't go, Draven."

He sighed and looked away.

"I just want us to bond, Eirlys. I feel like... we're losing our touch lately, so I want us to be okay again." Mahina nitong sabi.

Imbes na gawin ko ang night routine ko, kailangan ko tuloy siyang i-comfort!

Nilapitan ko siya. I held his hands, kaya bumaling sakin ang tingin niya.

"What do you mean we're losing our touch, Draven? We're just both busy, okay? And if personally, you want us to go on a vacation to build a family, I'm telling you now, I'm still heartbroken because of what happened to our baby. I'm not ready to have a new one. As of now, I want to live my life and I don't want kids."

He closed his eyes. I thought I made it clear to him, but then he hugged me.

"We need a baby to be our inspiration, Eirlys. We need a baby to strengthen us," He murmured.

He wants us to have a baby, para may habol siya sakin. Para sila ng pamilya niya ay may kapit sakin. That's his reason for wanting us to have a child.

"I don't want it, Draven," I said with my shaking voice. "I-I'm too scared." Humikbi ako.

Nagulat siya nang umiyak ako kaya agad niya 'kong hinarap. He wiped my tears, but I just can't stop myself from crying since I need to make him believe that I am really hurt.

Though I am still.

Ang iba lang ay mas matimbang ang galit.

"I-I'm sorry." He wiped my tears. "Alright. I'm not going to push you again. I'll wait until you're ready."

I will never be ready. I don't want kids. I don't want a husband. I only want myself.

The image of him having fun with his mistress while I was giving birth is making my anger brighter.

"I'll be ready, okay? But not now..." I said softly.

"Yes. Hush now." He caressed my face.

Xelios is out of the country since may kikitain daw itong business partner. He told me that. He's updating me, though. But sakin, wala namang problema if he wants to have fun with someone else. After all, we're just playing here.
