CHAPTER 38
EIRLYS
XELIOS LEFT. He left for a week that's why I was forced to arrange my boutique's opening with Draven.
"Which one do you like?" Draven asked and showed me the two kinds of flower in a ribbon form.
Pinagmasdan ko ang dalawang hawak niya. One is a white colored flower habang ang isa naman ay pula.
"Walang pink?"
"Ito lang ang choices."
Then why don't you do something?
I slowly nodded. "The red one," I smiled a little.
Nandito na ang pamilya ko and they're talking with some business partners about the designs that I can do.
Draven wrapped his arm around my waist. Natigilan naman ako at nagulat sa ginawa niya because what the hell is wrong with him?
"Congratulations," He kissed me.
I forced myself to smile after the kiss because I can feel most of the visitors here are looking at us.
"Thank you, babe," I caressed his face and smiled.
I can hear their phones, too. They are taking some pictures of us.
I don't know, but I looked around. What is that? Why does it feel like someone is looking at me?
I mean, for sure meron dahil sa mga bisita namin, but the aura is different. What the heck?
Si Xelios kaya 'yon? Maybe he's here? He promised! Na darating siya. But he also told me a week ago that he'll be gone for a week. Baka hindi pa siya nakakauwi. Nasaan ba kasi siya? He promised!
"Looking for something?" Draven, my husband, asked me.
I laughed nervously. "Nothing,"
He smiled at me. "I want to be your first costumer, Eirlys."
What?
"Costumer, Draven? No need, okay? I can make you a nice tuxedo for free." I chuckled.
"I want to support your business,"
He really did changed, huh?
Too bad. My eyesight remains on his bad behaviors before.
"Ikaw ang bahala,"
The opening and blessings of my boutique went well. After I cut the ribbon, I gave a little speech, thanking them for coming to my boutique's opening.
While eating, I was still looking around wondering is Xelios is just hiding, but he's not really here.
"Anak, we'll go ahead na.
"Thanks for coming, Mommy, Dad," I kissed them goodbye.
Draven's walking with me even though I didn't ask him to walk around. His family attended, too.
