CHAPTER 56

EIRLYS

BEFORE I STARTED my sinful relationship with Xelios, I already know that I won't be able to experience a real love. I mean, who would accept someone like me?

A woman who forget her principles and morals? And become a cheater just for what? To get even with her cheating husband?

But Xelios made me realized that my life won't just stop like that. He made me realized that I am still worthy of that kind of love.

"Everything felt so unreal..." I whispered.

"Hmm?"

I looked at the engagement ring on my finger. I smiled with the thought of being engaged with the man I really love.

"Thank you for loving me, Xelios," I said sincerely.

"Hmm? I should be the one thanking you, My Lady. Thank you for letting me love you." He kissed my forehead.

We're here on his bed, cuddling already. Watching the city lights.

"I never thought I would still experience this," I chuckled.

"You deserve every good thing, Eirlys. I wish you to have every good things,"

My tears fell. Tiningala ko siya.

"You're the one I really need in my life, Xelios. Thank you... for being here. Thank you for coming into my life and for giving me the peace and contentment that I have been looking for," I cried more.

He wiped my tears using his hand. He looks worried now.

"I will make you happy," He said. "You're my everything, Your Grace,"

Yumakap ako sakanya. I cannot stop myself from crying loud because I really think that I need this. I want him so bad for myself and now he's mine.

He's fucking mine.

"Shh... stop crying. The baby is probably sleeping right now," Xelios caressed my back.

I tried so hard to stop myself from crying. Xelios chuckled when he saw my face.

"I'm gonna get you some water,"

Tumango lang ako at hinayaan siya.

Bumalik ang tingin ko sa engagement ring na suot ko. I can't stop myself from smiling.

I am really marrying the love of my life.

Xelios came back with the glass of water. I smiled when I saw how sexy he is.

My smile fades when I saw his tattoo on his back.

The tattoo for his ex-wife. The amaryllis tattoo has falling snowflakes around it.

"Xelios..."

I kneeled on the bed and pushed him para makita ko ang likod niya. I caressed the snowflakes around the flower.

"You got snowflakes here. Wala ito noong huli." I said while still touching his tattoo.

He cleared his throat. "I had the amaryllis tattoo when I lost her. I don't like the feeling of not feeling her presence and I thought that if I will have the symbol of her name on my skin, I will still feel her presence. That's why I had the tattoo," he explained.

"There are falling snowflakes now..."

"Amaryllis is probably keeping an eye on her tattoo on me, to make me feel her presence. And then, I had you, the snowflakes, around hers to let her know that my heart belongs to you now. So she could finally rest." he explained more.
