They sat around and did a mental check in with each other.
Fatima: Y'all know that everything will get better. Take it from me, I've been through so much in my life, past and recent. And I'm still standing. I know that sometimes It may not look like things aren't getting better, but sometimes it's a place where God put you to depend on him more. I'm not a therapist nor am I a counselor. But I know that life is what you make it. You either going to allow everyday troubles stop you from living, or you going to keep living and grow through them. But it's up to you.
Jasmine: How are you always able to be positive through the storm?
Fatima: Because I remind myself that the storm doesn't last always. Yes there's always going to be things that happens, but they are out of our control. You grow through it, and get through it by praying and staying positive. But the king you sit in it and complain about it, the longer it lasts.
Anita: Baby you sure you in the right field?
Faith: I asked her the same thing.
Fatima: Yes I'm sure I'm in the right field. I love what I do. Being a lawyer was always my dream, and I would never give it up. Don't get me wrong, I love helping others get through, but I got my own set of problems. Dealing with court cases is already stressful enough.
Faith: You will make a good one.
Fatima: I don't know, maybe one day I'll give into it. But as for right now, I'll leave it to you.
Aisha: She is good at what she does.
Fatima: She's the best of the best. She's helped myself and Zac through some hard times, together and separated.
Aisha: And she's helping me.
Faith: And I'm blessed to be apart of today Fatima and Zac, and even you Aisha. You've grown a lot.
Fatima: No we're blessed to have you. And yes Aisha has grown a lot. Therapy isn't bad, it's helpful and I feel like everybody needs it.
Anita: You definitely right about that.
As the night was coming to a end, everybody was getting ready to leave
Fatima: Well we've really enjoyed you all today/night. And we thank you for spending your day with us
Jordan: Always sis, you know we hear.
Anita: Your welcome baby. We enjoyed you all as well.
Darius: We'll sis we love you, and thanks for the invite.
Fatima: You've welcome bro. And don't stay away like y'all did. We are family, and we got y'all.
Darius: And we appreciate that sis.
Fatima: Anytime. Now Jasmine, I'll see you at work Monday.
Jasmine: Okay sis.
Fatima: I love y'all
Darius: We love you too.
Aisha: I'll call you when I make it home. I love your
Fatima: I love you too. You riding with Faith?
Aisha: Yea, she gonna take me home.
Fatima: Okay then. Y'all drive safe.
Jordan: Okay sis, we gonna head out.
Fatima: Okay bro. You get my babies and sis home safe.
Jordan: You know I got it.
Fatima: I know you do. I love y'all.
Jordan: We love you too.
Fatima: Bye mom and dad, we love y'all.
James: We love y'all too baby girl.
Everybody leaves and Zac and Fatima went and bathe the lil ones and got them to bed.
Zac: Today was a great day.
Fatima: It really was. I just love having family day.
Zac: Yea, me too.
Fatima: You okay tho?
Zac: I'm better than okay.
Fatima: That's what I want to hear.
Zac: I love you Mrs.Taylor
Fatima: I love you more Mr.Taylor
They went and showered and got ready for bed.
