Decisions

It was getting late and they decided to call it a night.

Fatima: Well it's getting late and we gotta get rested up for the party in a couple hours.

Andi: Damn it's already 1

Fatima: Time be flying by fast.

Andi: That it does.

Fatima: Well y'all have a good night and we will see y'all we everybody gets up.

Andi: Okay.

Fatima: Goodnight and we love y'all.

Aisha: We love y'all too sis.

Everybody said their goodnights and I love yous and went to their rooms. Fatima and Zac are lying in bed with her laying on Zac chest.

Zac: Baby

Fatima: Yes

Zac: What's on your mind?

Fatima: How you know I'm thinking about something?

Zac: After almost 10 years, you still think I don't feel when you have something on your mind?

Fatima: I wanna talk to you about something.

Zac: What's wrong baby? Talk to me.

Fatima: I was thinking, and I feel like Ava should go to school in the states. I feel like she's too smart and advanced for the schools here. And she also could get a better education in the states.

Zac: So you saying we have to move again?

Fatima: No, but maybe she can stay with Andi or mom and dad during the school year, and come back here during the summer.

Zac: That's going to be hard for me to do.

Fatima: I know baby. Trust me, it's going to be hard for me as well. But it'll help us out a lot especially with the new baby coming.

Zac: What about Zion, you don't think he's going to miss his sister?

Fatima: He still got Ri here.

Zac: I don't know baby. It'll be a good idea but that's a hard decision.

Fatima: And I also want to deliver the new baby in the states. Doctor Stevens delivered both Ava and Zion, and I want him to deliver this one as well.

Zac: Well clearly you've already made your mind up what you want.

Fatima: No baby I haven't. I'm talking to you because I want us to make these decisions together. We are in a marriage baby, so your decision and opinions matter as well.

Zac: How about we pray about it, and let God lead and direct our path. And we come up with a decision before the family leave back out.

Fatima: We can always do that.

Zac: Have you talked to anybody else about it?

Fatima: No I haven't, you the first and only person I've discussed this with.

Zac: Okay then. Well let's focus on getting through this party and we'll pick back up on this conversation tomorrow night when we get settled down in bed.

Fatima: Okay that's fine with me. So are you ready for our daughter party?

Zac: I am, our baby girl just growing on up.

Fatima: Tell me about it. I'm not ready for her to get any older. Seems like I just had her yesterday.

Zac: You say that every year she gets older.

Fatima: And ima keep saying it every year. She's gonna always be my baby. She's my first born, and the first best I've ever received.

Zac: Then what was I?

Fatima: The best gift I never knew I needed.

Zac: I better be.

Fatima: And I better be yours.

Zac: Oh you definitely are.

Fatima: I better be.

Zac: God has definitely blessed us.

Fatima: Yes he did. Our children are healthy and happy, we're healthy and happy, our family are healthy and happy. What more could we ask for?

Zac: Facts.

Fatima: And our family being here, got me really missing the moments of all of us together.

Zac: Yea we definitely spent a lot of time together.

Fatima: I wish we could spend more time together.

Zac: So what are you saying?

Fatima: I don't know baby, but I miss it.

Zac: Are you thinking what I think you're thinking?

Fatima: What?

Zac: Baby, do you want to move back to Atlanta?

Fatima: Yes and No.

Zac: What do that even mean?

Fatima: Yes I do because I miss being close to everyone and the help that we hit. And No because, we just started building a life here.

Zac: I can understand that.

Fatima: I just don't know what to think honestly. Maybe it's the pregnancy hormones.

Zac: Well baby we still have our home in Atlanta. So if you want to go back and spend some time there, we can do that. And whatever you want to do after that, we'll go from there.

Fatima: Are you sure?

Zac: Yes baby, I'm positive. We are a family but I also want you to be sure that what you're feeling is really what you want and you're not doing it out of feelings.

Fatima: Okay baby, we'll sleep on it.

Zac: I love you baby.

Fatima: And I love you more baby.

Zac: Goodnight
