Darius: Sorry it took so long.
Fatima: Talk to us.
Darius: Well the reason it took so long was, we lost Faith a couple times. But she's stable now. She had an intense surgery, where we had to repair her kidney. She also suffered from multiple injuries. Head trauma, broken ribs, fractured abdomen, along with severe broken bones. She's really lucky to still be alive.
Fatima: Is she going to be okay?
Darius: Only time will tell. We had to induce her into a medical induced coma so that her body can heal.
Fatima: And Aisha and the baby.
Darius: Aisha suffered from head trauma, 3 cracked ribs, and fractured lung.
Anita: Fractured lung? I thought it was just a head injury and 3 cracked ribs?
Darius: She also had a fractured lung. So she's also in a medical induced coma so that her body can heal.
Fatima: And Ariyah?
Darius: Ariyah is doing good. She's been monitor because she came in just above 7 months and weighing 3lbs and 2oz. But she's going to be just fine.
Anita: When can we see them?
Darius: Give me 30 mins and I will get y'all in to see them.
Fatima: So how did this happen?
Darius: I'm unaware of that.
Fatima: Wth. So nobody's been up here to tell y'all anything?
Anita: Nope and I've been here all day.
Fatima: Okay, don't worry about it. I'll fine out. But thank you bro.
Darius: You're welcome sis.
Darius walked away.
Fatima: Wow, this is a lot. But ima get to the bottom of this. Because somethings not adding up.
Zac: We will get through this baby. They need all of us to be strong for them right now.
Anita: He's right baby. One thing I know is that, You and Aisha are both fighters and y'all don't give up. So like Zac said we will get through this together.
Fatima: You right.
Andi: Ti, isn't that Carter?
Fatima: Yea that's his bitch ass. And funny enough I was just about to call to get the run down on this car accident.
Andi: Well looks like you don't have to now.
Fatima: I can't stand his ass.
Anita: Baby let's just find out what happened.
Carter: Wuz up Ti, I been trying to get in touch with you.
Fatima: Don't what's up me. What's going on with the car accident report?
Carter: Can we go somewhere and talk?
Fatima: Whatever.
They went into the conference room.
Carter: Have a seat
Fatima: I'll stand.
Carter: Well we got the video footage of the car accident.
Fatima: And what took y'all so long. It's been hours Carter?
Carter: And are you going to listen or ask questions?
Zac: Nope that's what you not gonna do. I don't give a damn if your ass a cop or not. Ain't nobody mf about to disrespect this one. Not my wife or anybody that's standing in this room.
Carter: Damn bro calm down. Ain't nobody disrespecting nobody.
Zac: Cut the bro shit.
Fatima: Carter continue.
Anita: Can everybody just calm down and let him say what he has to say?
Fatima: His rental cop ass the one beating around the bush, like spit it the fuck out already.
Carter: It was a hit and run.
Fatima: Wait come again.
Carter: It was a hit and run.
Fatima: So you mean to tell me that my sisters and niece is fighting for their lives and y'all don't know who did this?
Carter: No we don't. We're working hard enough and doing what we can to find whoever it was.
Fatima: Y'all not doing a damn thing. Y'all don't do nothing but ride around and harass black men and kiss theses white folk ass. I'm telling you this now Carter, if I don't have an answer within the next couple of hours. I'm going out and doing it my damn self. And that's not a threat, that's a promise.
Darius came and got them to go see Aisha, Faith, and Ariyah.
Darius: Y'all can come now.
Fatima: Here we come bro.
Darius: Okay.
Fatima: And Carter, I'm not playing. I'm dead serious, get to looking or doing something because if I have to do it, it's going to be a different ballgame.
Carter knew that Fatima was nothing to be played with. Fatima might be a successful, businesswoman. But Fatima had pull in the streets, and she didn't play. So Carter knew that she was dead ass about what she said.
Zac: Damn baby, you had that man literally shaking in his boots.
They all laughed
Fatima: Shut up ( playful hit him )
As they were walking back Fatima got tensed up so Zac grabbed her hand.
Zac: Baby I got you. I'm right here ( he whispered )
And they walked into Aisha room.
