Days with a Rabbit: A Smith's Questions and Comfort

"Tsk...I tell that woman it's ready ahead of schedule and she pushes back on when to collect it. Seriosuly...is she blue balling me about her visits at this point!" Hephaestus yelled as she paced back and forth in her office. 

Her appearance could have been better, but she had a lot of work to do with Monsterphelia being only three days away now. She had her schedule packed with looking over Ganesha's family member's weapons and cages. Checking her own children's work progress and goods to sell then. 

And once again having to deal with another talented child of hers, Welf Crozzo, about how he was restricting himself and updating his status as he was currently in progress to level up to obtain the [Smith] skill. She had to send Tsubaki to drag him to the clinic as he needed to be patched up.

*Knock Knock*

"Lady Hephaestus, a member of the Freya Familia has arrived instead of Lady Freya herself. She apparently had some urgent business to attend and sent one of her children in reguards of that item she requested."

The voice of her familia's captain, Tsubaki, sounded behind the door. Bringing her attention back as she sighed. Straightening out her shirt and wiping off some dust and fixing her desk before turning back to the door. 

"Alright, send them in Tsubaki."

"Yes! Pardon the intrusion." She said as she opened the door and moved aside. Gesturing the other person to come in. Hephaestus's eyes widened at the sight of a boy with white hair and ruby eyes looking around her office in glee and wonder. 

"Woah this is your god's office!? It's got a fireplace and cool furnace! Oh! Is that a giant tusk over the mantle!?" He cried out as Tsubaki laughed and pointed at the decorative piece in her room, completely ignoring formalities.

"Yup! Lady Hephaestus kept it, to commemorate my first ever successful hunt of a item quest as this familia's captain! I keep telling her we should make a cool weapon out of it, but she had none of that happening!"

"Aww! But you could've made such a cool sword! No, wait a giant bow and arrows for it that looked like it came straight off a monster's corpse!"

"Ohh yeah! Scare the shit out of monsters with the bones of their very own and kill them with it!"

"No wait! A big cannon you could fire over and over without loading it one at a time! A repeating big cannon that causes giant explosions!" The boy cried as Tsubaki's eyes widened before smothering the boy in her large ample breast. She was squealing and swinging him around in a circle before she looked at her goddess and held out the boy in her arms from under his armpits. 

"Lady Hephaestus! Please can we keep him! He understands me! He's perfect for our familia! HE'S MY TYPE!"

"Are you an idiot!? Do you want me to cause a war to happen if you took in Freya's kid without his consent! And even if he did, I don't want Freya marching in her with an army!" Hephaestus yelled as her familia's captain was squatted on the floor nursing now the large bump on her head that was smoking. As Hepahestus's hand was smoking as well. 

"I'll be discussing about Freya's project with...Oh! Terribly sorry about Tsubaki...Bell Cranel right? Please...don't mention this to Freya." She said the last part in a hushed whisper as she shivered. Imagining what Freya would do to her if she found out that her child was smothering this boy into those melons she has as a chest. 

"Ah no sweat Phae! And sorry but I refuse your invitation Miss Tsubaki. I'm a man of adventure and romancing about in the dungeon. Smithing isn't really my thing. But if you want suggestions about weapons then we can talk later about ideas!" Bell said as she bowed at the goddess before waving goodbye to the now retreating captain as she shut the door.
