Debauchery and Dealings

Bell knew something was wrong when he was told by Hogni to go to Syr's and Helun's room. 

A gut feeling he had when he was on his way back home here. After hearing that from Hogni, he almost toppled his Uncle aside. Running towards their room as he stopped in front of it. Hesitantly raising his fist as to prevent him from breaking down her door and opted to knock on it gently. 

Calling out Syr and Helun's name a few times before his hand went over to the doorknob. Twisting it and surprised it was unlocked. Opening and entering inside, the only light in the room was coming from the window. Partly covered by the curtains as he saw Syr hugging a pillow to herself as she looked up towards him.

"Syr! Syr? What's wrong!?" Bell asked in a panicked voice, tossing his shoes off and hopping onto the bed. Hugging Syr when he saw her dried up tears on her face and the damp spots on her pillow. Careful to hug her as he didn't want to hurt or make things worse if there was something wrong.

"Who made you cry Syr? I'm gonna kick their ass to whoever did this to you!? I'll get Mama Mia and the others to-" He was about to rant on until Syr tugged on his shirt and shook her head.

"N-No Bell. It's not...I..please don't. I don't want you to get into trouble. And he's not worth it." Syr muttered before she gasped as Bell's hands held onto her by her shoulder's tightly. Making her look up to the panicked and worried face Bell had on.

"You're worth anything I have to go through Syr. That's especially the same thing with you too Helun. I care and love the both of you. And if anyone ever makes you cry, or takes away your smile...I'll make them ever regret that they were born in this world." Bell declared as he pressed his forehead against hers. Caressing her face gently before he joted at the small chime of their magic to see Helun sitting there and sniffling.

"Helun?"

"S-Sorry Bell...I-It's just...I'm the one more suited to...t-tell you why we were so distraught. A-And why we needed to talk." Helun stuttered out. Sniffling as she wiped away her nose and cleared her throat before looking at Bell.

"We...heard something about you. Or...more about your past." Helun said at first, tensed as Bell nodded and reached out to grab his hand. Looking at him in his eyes with her one revealed eye. 

"N-now promise me Bell. Promise to not panic or anything. T-This might be difficult to hear, but what we heard regarding you...we confirmed it to be true." Carefully emphasizing her words to him, she waited for him to finally nod. Feeling how his hand now held hers and clenched a bit after she scooted back. Licking her lips and letting out a trembling sigh.

"Your grandfather...is alive Bell." Helun said. Watching as Bell's pupil's shrank. His eyes widening as his breath hitched. A few seconds passed by as he had troubled breathing. Panting and huffing out air as his shoulders shook in place, hand twitching in hers as she gripped onto it tightly and then grabbed the other one.

"Bell. Bell! Easy...easy. J-Just...deep breath in. Then out. S-Slowly now okay?" Helun cooed at him, getting him to slowly regain his breathing and following along. Taking a moment to ease him back to where he was no longer shaking, but his eyes were quivering and watering up.

"H-He's alive?"

"From what happened today at the Hostess and from what we heard..h-he is."

"T-Then how? W-Why is he alive? H-How did he even make it out of the caves and with the goblins? W-What has he been doing in the year that I left home and-d-did he go tothe Hostess?! Did he touch you? Wh-Where is he!? I-Is he even alive if Mia caught him doing anything to-"

"Bell..." Helun called out as his breathing became hitched and his voice cracking. He was even unaware of the tears falling from his face with each word he asked.
