Against the Current

Minji went out of the elevator door putting her jacket over her shoulder and saw Kazuha crossing her arms looking at her with daggering eyes.

Minji: what!?

Kazuha: She went out crying you know..did you hurt her?

Minji: yes... I need to..

Kazuha: Why? I told you before..a thousand times..she doesn't deserve to be involved...

Minji: I know that Zuha...

Kazuha: then why do you keep doing it? Don't tell me you don't love her because I know that you do...You love her so much...

Minji: We know that Zuha!...But every time we look at her, she reminds us of her father! We can't stop it!

Kazuha knows that Minji has a dual personality, dissociative identity disorder to be exact. Kazuha noticed this when Minji came to her and when she took her in, of course Minji told her everything and it was hell of a shocker for her, knowing that Minji's family died in a tragedy.

She saw Minji in a different personality it was more of a dark Minji destroying the goodness in her. Being traumatized triggered something inside of her, she concluded. She tried to reach out for her to get some help but Minji refuses to, saying that she doesn't need help at all. Kazuha also knows Minji's plot of revenge, she tried her best talking some senses to her but anger already consumed the real Minji and the other Minji but deep down in her she knows both personality is not evil at all, only lost.

Kazuha: So you'll just push her away?..Min...to be honest with you, ever since you track her down and finally be able to talk to her...it was the only moment I saw you smile...a smile that is you..a smile that I see Seungmin, Aunt Jennie and Uncle Taehyung in you...

Minji: she...she deserves better than me Zuha...I'm not a good person...I was before...

Kazuha: It's not too late Min...We can bring back the old you...

Minji: how?...(she sadly said)

Kazuha: you can start by letting go....

Minji: that's the problem Zuha! I can't!..

Minji was about to walk away and exit the building when her tracks were stopped when she heard Kazuha spoke.

Kazuha: if you love her then you can...you just need to try....

When she was outside the building, she was so mad at herself because first, the things she said to Hanni were not true at all. It's not because of lust or just because she is tempted. It's because of love. She love Hanni so much.

Minji: we really did a fcking coward thing back there Min...

"I know...We hurt her..."

Minji: What do we really want Min?...we need to agree on something...revenge or her...

Minji took a deep hell of a breath and stared at the night sky above. Praying to god to give her strength on the decision she is about to make. Closing her eyes and calming herself she heard her phone vibrating and seeing a job offered to her with a huge amount of money on the line on her screen. For a few seconds she was staring at it but now had decided what she really wanted.

Kazuha was cleaning the utensils of her coffee shop when she got startled when the door of her shop forcefully opened. Minji just decided to barge in.

Minji: Zuha can I request a day off on Saturday?!

Kazuha: Huh? Is that a request or demand?

Minji: Both actually! I'll go camping in Busan....

Kazuha: What's in Busan??
