A Wish She Hopes

The Pham's rise for power became full. Marcus Pham has strengthen his campaign for presidency and in time he will be elected to become a father to this country.

His shady guilt still lingers everyday knowing that a child has lock a serious anger on him and that child as well has fallen madly in love with his off spring. With all those he still did not cease in reaching out for her, expressing his deep regret and how he wanted to bring back the smiles that his daughter used to have and how he wanted to bring back Minji's to mend Hanni's broken heart.

Marcus admitted to Hanni right after she went back from Minji's apartment that he was the other number who was seeking for assistance to protect her. He had heard of this mysterious skilled avenger who can get the job done but with a certain price. He and fox took the liberty to search and ask for "his" services. This was his only back up plan if any of his men can't get the job done and how he was very much impress that in deed "he" can get it done but not knowing all throughout that it was Minji all along. How faith played it's way.

As for the other number they came to a dead end, he was never found but still Marcus's men did not stop in searching who he is and what his real intentions are for Hanni.

Hanni was purely devastated, how she regretted every single hurtful word she said to Minji, if only she could take it back, if only she could make it better, if only she could be with her again. Years have passed and Hanni was never the same again, although she paints a smile every now and then but the closest to her knows that those smiles are not true.

The day after she had a revealing talk to Kazuha, she went back to the coffee shop hoping to get more details to where Minji is but what dismay she felt when Kazuha's coffee shop closed and A fled out of the country. Her only connection to find where Minji is, has left.

How she pleaded with her father to search for Minji with all her broken heart she pleaded and Marcus saw every hurt on his daughter's eyes. Who was he to refuse? When he himself wanted to find Minji as well.

With the aid of his trusted agent, fox. They search for her but Minji refuses to be found, not even a trace of hair. Days became months and months became years.

Four years have passed.

Dani: Unnie... let's go downstairs... We'll be late to your party ...

Danielle was just staring at her best friend's back as she was outside of the veranda of her room looking at the stars above.

Dani: Don't tell me you're just going to lock up in here.. It's your birthday and guests are waiting for you Dr. Pham...

Hanni has matured with such stunning beauty. No one can ever deny that and more suitors are down on their knees just for her attention but the doctor refuses to entertain anyone, but her friends said otherwise, they say she needs to move on, she needs to put her attention in going out with someone, Hanni was in no mood to argue and she just agreed to let her suitors court her. They send her gifts, flowers, chocolates and even take her on a date but at the end of the day she just doesn't care at all. If it's not Minji.

After she graduated college she proceeded to take a medical career, a career in which she studies the mind and behavior, she was never able to understand and save the one who made her feel alive. It was her little way of redemption, maybe next time if she finds her she could better understand what's playing inside Minji's mind.
