New Beginning

Hanni: this is just a dream....let this be a dream...please...oh please....

Hanni: PLEASE!!! (She screamed)

Her eyes closed and her tears were flowing down her face. Her body felt heavy and she felt sick. But most of all she was shivering.

Hanni felt her body tremble from cold and how it's hard for her eyes to open.

"Shit...this can't be happening.. This can't be..not to her..not to us!!!" She angrily said to herself.

She can't hear anything aside from the silence and the small whimpers coming from her mouth because of the coldness she felt.

After a few minutes, the coldness suddenly faded.

The cold she felt was replaced by a soothing and comfortable warmness. Slowly she opened her tired eyes and what she saw was something unexpected.

Hanni: a--a------

Minji: Ha...Han...

And there she is, all soaked up with a bundle of wood in her hand. Busying herself with the fire she created and when she saw Hanni slowly waking up she instantly froze from what she was doing, not able to do what she was supposed to do, which actually is ensuring the fire was stable enough till morning and finally to bid farewell to the supposed not awake Hanni right now.

Minji: uhm....uhm...

She could not react or form any suitable words to the lady who just woke up and looked shocked as hell. Minji's heart was pumping incredibly fast, like a child doing something fishy and caught in the act by her parents.

Hanni: Min.....--

This time Minji panicked, she cut off Hanni's words instantly, stopping her from saying any more painful words she said earlier.

Minji: you don't have to say anything to me, I was just making sure that you'll be warm enough till morning... (She slowly stood up from the ground)

Hanni was confused of what was happening. In her memory she saw Minji had died but right now, here she is alive? and all soak up from what seems to be the rain, and both of them is inside what seems to be a cave?....

"Wait what!? We're in a cave!? But this happened way back before....way back before... 4 years ago?....but...why are we here?...was I dreaming?? Or am I dreaming now!?... what's happening!?.." A confused Hanni said to herself.

Indeed she was confused. Was the future her dream? Or right now is her dream? Which is real?.

Minji: Just close your eyes again....when you wake up...you will no longer see me...as you open your eyes...you will be in safe arms...and I will be just a ghost to you...

She saw Minji was already near the exit of the cave and this time she was in a state of panic, such panic that she pinched herself strong just to perfectly verify if she was dreaming.

Hanni: Ouch!!!

With that her eyes opened wide.

Hanni: IT'S NOT A DREAM!!!
