A Lie. A Pretend

Hanni: Minji!!! Minji!!! Where are you??!!! Min!!! (She was crying and holding on for her dear life)

She was in panic because it's so dark and she can't see Minji. She's scared because the water is rising and the flow is getting stronger. She was already shivering from the cold and her nervousness didn't help at all.

Hanni: Minji....please...I-I c-cant...

Minji: Why are you crying?

Hanni was shocked when she saw Minji beside her.

Hanni: I-I th-thought...

Minji: Shhh, I'm here. Hold onto me...

The fear she felt a while ago disappeared and she can't help but smile knowing Minji is safe. Even though she was confused with what's happening she held onto Minji until they reached a muddy ground.

Hanni was shivering and so was Minji but she doesn't want to make it obvious. Minji heard footsteps in their direction. They immediately hid behind a tree.

They heard voices debating and one of the voices is familiar.

Man 1: Where are they!?

Chan: Damn it!! They're just here!! Find them!

Man 2: We almost had her!! Who's that girl Chan !!?

Chan: I don't know! She's just an Ordinary person!

Minji was carefully listening to their conversation and minimizing as much noise as possible. She was covering Hanni's mouth but she had to shift her attention to Hanni when she felt she was badly shivering.

Her eyes grew in concern because of how pale Hanni's lips were, she's really cold and she's having difficulty in breathing..but she's more concerned at how her breathing's really loud, they might get caught because of it.

Minji: I know you're cold..but try not to make a sound...

Hanni: I---.....(she can't speak because of too much cold)

They didn't expect that it would rain and it increased the coldness they were already feeling.

Hanni: Min--I'm-so--col---

Minji: ssshhhhhh...they might hear you.....

Hanni was leaning against the tree, trying her best not to make a sound but she was having a hard time. She was already hugging herself just to create heat for her body but to her disappointment it's not working at all.

Minji noticed this and she had to do something. Carefully she took off her jacket and her shirt, leaving her with only her sports bra on. Hanni saw this and she immediately reacted.

Hanni: Wh---what a-are y-you d-doing??

Minji: you need heat...(she hugged Hanni)

Although in contact she felt Minji's skin was cold but eventually she started to feel a bit warm.

She felt happy somehow she was able to make Hanni warm for a while but alarmed when she heard the three men close to their hiding position and Hanni was still breathing heavily in the cold.

Minji had to quickly act fast or not they would be caught. She slowly distanced a little to Hanni and leaned her arms against the tree, trapping Hanni.

Hanni: Mi---minji....

Minji: hey...look at me...let's try to be quiet alright...so just relax..and just focus all your breathing on this.....

Slowly Minji moved closer to Hanni, closing her eyes and diminished the distance between her lips and  Hanni. Her lips move asking for the other to respond, Hanni of course for the few seconds was surprised by the sudden kiss, but her nerves started to relax and her breathing became at a steady pace when she felt Minji's lips against hers. Slowly she too close her eyes and automatically wrap her arms around Minji's nape while the other pressed her body closer to Hanni to generate a little more heat.
