Maybe Next Time

Danielle is busy watching Minji's game, while I on the other hand is busy thinking when will I meet ghost again.

"When can I meet her again?" I thought to myself

Dani: GOAL!!!

I looked at her and thought of what she said, Goal? What's that? I diverted my attention at the field and saw Minji smiling with her teammates cheering. Minji's smile is so pretty, it's very contagious.

Dani: Unnie. Minji scored!! Woohooohhhh!!

Danielle really is an avid fan of Minji and she also likes soccer. She's well knowledge about the sport.

Hanni: What's goal dani?

Dani: OMG! Really unnie? Hahaha it means Minji unni scored, goal means when the player hits the ball and it passes over the line between the goalposts.

After I heard her explanation, I stood up and shouted.

Hanni: Yes! Go Minji! Go!

I watched Minji stopped running and saw me cheering for her. She's stopping herself from smiling, but I can see her ears turned red. While her teammates tease her. I also realized that the other people sitting on the bench are looking at me. Why?

Danielle pulled me to sit down.

Dani: Unnie! She scored a while ago, your cheering is late. Why are you shouting there?

Hanni: Ahh hehe I'm just cheering for our team.

Dani: Hmmm is it really for the team? Why did I heard only Minji unnie's name. Hahahaha ( she teased me) Be honest with me, you like minji unnie?

Hanni: What? No!! Dani, we had this conversation a while ago. Minji's not my type and she's my best friend, our best friend.. Again I'm straight and I don't like Minji that way.

Dani: You sure? I wanna be sure Unnie

Hanni: 100% sure dani

She smiled at me but it didn't reach her ears. After that she turned her attention at Minji's game. I saw how fast Minji is running while kicking the ball. The opponent was having hard time catching up with her. Wow, my best friend is really good. Goshh!

I felt someone closed my mouth.

Dani: See! That's what you get not watching Minji unnie's games. Hahahaha. She's really good unnie. ( She proudly said)

I really don't have any idea how good Minji is at soccer. We are friends for almost 4 years, but this is the first time I saw her play. Usually times like this over the past years, i have foreign languages and manners and conduct classes to attend. Being a child of an Ambassador requires me to act as prim and proper with the touch of finesse and elegance.

The crowd cheered loudly again while standing so I decided to stand up too. There I saw Minji's teammate Ryujin passed the ball to her and when she got near at the opponent's goalpost, she swiftly kicked the ball and boom it went in.

Crowd: Wooohoooohh!!! Goal!!

Hanni: Goal?....

Hanni: Goal!!!

I shouted with the crowd. Minji scored again.

Hanni: Did we won Dani?

Dani: Yes unnie.. Blue Lady Strikers won! Yeeyyyy!

So this is how it feels to watch soccer, I think I should watch more often.
