“ P E E K A B O O ? ” They confusingly tilted their head, before walking towards where you had peeked your head out.
You notice them coming your way and run behind a different wall, seeing them look at where you once stood.

You giggle again, before calling out. “Here!”
Peek turned to where you called, a happy look in his eyes as he skipped towards where you are, seeing you peek at the other side.

“ P E E K A B O O ! ”
They happily beamed, scaring the life out of you, letting out a yelp. You drop to the floor on shock, freezing while they only tilt their head.
After a few seconds and realizing, you chuckle and stand up quickly.
“I didn't know you were there, Peek!” You smiled widely. “You found me alot quicker than last time, too! I'm glad you're improving, haha!”
They approach you and nudge your cheek with their head, making you laugh again.
“Oh my, Is there a reason you're so affectionate today?” You ask with a soft voice, rubbing their head gently.
“ P E E K A B O O ? ” They noised out, but sorrow was clear in their tone.
“Oh! It's not like it's a bad thing, I was just not expecting you to act like this, you know?” You chuckle with a pat on their head.

They look up, staring at your eyes while tilting their head.
Suddenly, you feel your pocket vibrate. You stop patting their head and bring out your phone from your pocket, flipping it open and seeing someone had called you.

You give Peek an apologetic glance before taking the call, placing your free hand on top of their head, making them release a noise of satisfaction.
“Hey Gary!” You beam. Noises from the other side made you know he was responding. He spoke to you in Latin, Thank God you could understand.
You frown.
“Huh?” You pout. “But..”
Noises erupt from the phone again, making you sigh, a pout still on your mouth.
“Fine..” You reluctantly mutter. “I'll see you soon.”
You hang up and shove your phone in your pocket, turning your attention to Peek.
“Sorry, Peek.. I have to go..” You sobbed, hugging his tall form. They let out a noise of sadness, tilting their head again.
