Hi so for story purposes, I am gonna choose Dylan and Megans ages. I am choosing Dylan to be 9-10 and Megan to be 7-8.

After the whole Brad being stuck in a wall after crumpling the car a little bit, we still had to go to school. I know right? Mom is really mean. Megan, Dylan and I are all sat in the back, with me trying to hold up the dented bit. It keeps on coming down every time I let go. It is kinda annoying but my siblings found it funny. Dad is driving the car cause Brad is still hurting from what he did.

"Hey, I'm really sorry about what happened to your car." Dad says. I can't tell whether he is sincere or not.

"Yeah, and I'm sorry about what happened to your bike." Brad says genuinely sincere.

"Oh, no damage. Not a scratch." Dad says. I have to hold back a laugh cause I don't really wanna get moaned at again

"Oh, not even one scratch? Unbelievable. That's so good." Step-douche laughs awkwardly. The roof comes down again making me push it back up with a groan.

"Why didn't we just walk? We do not live that far away?" I ask.

"Your school is like a 30 minute walk from the house." Step-douche says.

"So. You could of walked with Megan and Dylan and Dad could of taken me on his bike." I say.

Yeah I would of convinced my dad to let me skip. I really do not feel like going in today. Step-douche doesn't answer and just shakes his head. We pull up outside of Megan and Dylans school in the line thing. It is really annoying cause the woman in charge of it gets really crazy if you break the rules.

"Let's keep it going! Inside the cones! Just like ice cream! Got to keep it inside the cones!" The woman says. See what I mean? Crazy. Dad sighs and tries to leave the cones.

"No, Daddy!" Megan yells.

"You're supposed to stay in the cones!" Dylan yells. Jeez.

"Do it Dad!" I yell out laughing. What can I say, seeing this stupid line be broken may just make my day that little bit better.

"Whoa, whoa! Inside the cones! Inside. Bring her in. That's better." The lady says at dad causing him to sigh. "Let's keep those kids safe today, okay? Thank you, Brad."

"Sorry, Doris. It's okay. This whole drop-off line thing can be a bit overwhelming if you're not used to it." Brad says trying to make it better. It's not overwhelming, it's just stupid.

"Yeah, well, I've landed a chopper in the middle of a Cuban prison riot, Brad, I think I'm good." Dad says. The car stops and the door opens so Megan and Dylan can get out.

"Bye, guys! I love you guys so much." Dad calls after them.

"Have a great day, okay?" Step-douche calls out as well.

"Bye, Daddy! Bye, Soph!" They call.

"Bye! Create some minor mayhem to tell me about!" I call to them before the door closes.

"Really? You want them to get in trouble?" Step-douche says in his 'think about your actions' voice.

"I never said get caught. I have taught them better than that." I say causing dad to laugh. Finally! Someone who gets my humour.

20 minutes later an we have pulled up at my school. I'm gonna be honest with you , I always feel so anxious before walking into school. I am just so bad at it because I am dyslexic and because I only had a mom for a few years which apparently means kids have a fair reason to make my life living hell. I've gotten into a few fights because kids are saying stuff. I have like one or two friends who I hang out with but it doesn't make it any easier. Mom refuses to home school me so I have to suffer with all the looks and whispers. I don't want dad to know yet cause I don't want to upset him.

"Ok baby doll. Have a good day." Dad says as he stops the car.

"Yeah not possible. Bye." I say as I grab my bag and leave the car.

Dusty POV:

"Yeah not possible. Bye." Soph says as she leaves the car. She sounds miserable.

"What's up with her?" I ask Brad as I start driving to his work.

"Well, she has not really been liking school. With her dyslexia she just finds stuff like reading and writing super hard and I think some of the other kids kinda pick on her for it I think. She has been in a few confrontations in the past few years." Brad say. Wait..........WHAT!?!

"So let me get this straight. MY little girl is being picked on by a bunch of punk ass kids and you have done nothing about it?" I yell at him. How could he do nothing to help her?!

"Well.....Dus...Dusty, Sarah and I had a few meetings with the principal and the parents of the other kids. Soph promised to not get into anymore confrontations and she hasn't." Brad says. Wow. Really?

"Are you serious? You had meetings?! Did you even ask Soph what happened or why it happened? You just got called in by a principle and parents who said my daughter was the bad guy? Jesus Christ Brad!" I yell. He tried to say something but I do not want to hear it right now. "No Brad. No. I do not want to hear any excuse. I will talk to Soph later. Let's just have a decent day at your job." I say trying to keep the peace

Hope you all enjoyed.
