Its later that day and Dad, Meg, Griff and I are sat watching Frozen. We went to the hospital but it was just a small break so I was out within a few hours with a cast. I'm sat on one of the couches with a bowl of gummy bears. Frozen is actually is a good movie for a kids movie.

"Wait. Prince Hans is actually the bad guy?" Griff says in disbelief.

"Man, I didn't see that coming at all. He seemed like he really loved Anna." Dad says just as shocked.

"I hate Prince Hans." Megan says.

"Me too. He sucks." I say with a mouth full of gummy bears.

"Dusty." Brad sayscoming in to the living room

"Hey Brad. Have you seen this movie? It's unbelievable, man. There's these two sisters, one of them has ice powers." Dad says to him.

"Yeah, I'm familiar with Frozen. I took Meg and Soph to watch it when it came out." Brad says pointing at me. Oh yeah. I remember that. That was embarrassing. He brought us all frozen t-shirts. Yes. He even brought one for himself. I nearly barfed at how embarrassing that was.

"Listen, Dusty, I need to talk to you now." Brad says to dad.

"I can't talk now, Brad." Dad says not looking away from the movie.

"Just pause the movie!" Brad says with a raised voice.

"Can you guys talk out there, please? You're ruining the movie!" I raise my voice at them.

"Griff, man. You gotta pause it, man." Dad begs Griff who has the remote.

"No! I don't want to ruin the momentum." Griff says to him.

"He won't... Dude, if another song comes on, you got to pause it. Okay?" Dad asks him starting to leave.

"Am I supposed to pause my emotions?" Griff says to dad.

"Just pause the song, man." Dad says as he leaves.

"No!" All three of us yell at him.

We continue watching the movie when the front door suddenly slams open and Dylan storms in cyring.

"Stupid helmet!" He yells throwing it to the floor. I get up and walk to the hall to see if he is ok.

"Honey, what happened?" Mom asks worried but Dylan just storms past him.

"They pushed me off my bike again! I'm so sick of it!" He yells running up the stairs to his room. Mom and I run up after him and he is lying down on his bed crying.

"Hey honey, tell me whats wrong?" Mom says in a comforting voice. Dylan just shakes his head and continues crying. "Was it the 4th graders again?" She asks in the same voice. Dylan doesn't do anything which means yes, it was the 6th graders.    "Ok, Soph you stay here with Dylan ok." Mom says as she leaves. I sit by Dylan on his bed and just stare at the wall. I was never too good at the whole comforting thing.

"What happened? I ain't mom or dad or step-douche. You can tell me. And, I won't tell them if you don't want me to." I say to him. After a few minutes, I feel the bed move and Dylan is sitting up next to me.

"I was riding my bike and they were yelling at me. I rode past them and they pushed me off and laughed at me." He said in a sad voice.

"Those little shitheads." I say angrily.

"Yeah. They are shitheads." He says. Oops.

"Hey. Do not let our parents hear you say that. They already think I'm a bad influence." I say laughing causing him to laugh a little. "You know, if I were you, I would just hit them. All you gotta do is hit one of them hard enough and the rest will all run away squeling like little piggies." I continue causing him to burst out laughing.

"Dylan! Come down here buddy." We hear dad yell. Dylan hugs me before he walks out of the room.

I swear, if I wasn't in 7th grade, I would kick the shit out of those 4th graders. I go to my room and try and get some school work done which is extremely difficult with one hand.

TIME SKIP

We are all watching a slide show of pictures mom and dad took when they were still married. By everyone, I mean everyone except Step-douche who is at work. We are all sat on the Sofa and I'm cuddled into Dad's side.

"Oh, my God, my hair, it looks awful." Mom laughs at one picture.

"Doesn't Mommy's hair look pretty?" Dad says to us.

"No. Next slide, please." Mom begs him.

"Oh, okay." Dad says clicking on the next slide. It was a picture of Mom and Dad kissing on a mountain.

"Cool. You guys climbed that?" Dylan asked surprised.

"Yuck. Why are you guys kissing in every single picture?" I asked. It is really gross how much they used to kiss.

"Oh, thats what married couples do." Dad says as he goes onto the other slide. It was a picture of Mom, Dad and little me on the Great Wall of China. Damn, I was a cute toddler.

"Aww. Baby Sophie. That was her first out of country trip." Mom says looking like she was gonna cry. "I loved that trip."

"Dylan, you were created right there on that wall, buddy." Dad says nonchalantly.

"Ew that is so gross dad." I tell him laughing. Do not want that image in my brain.

"Okay, next one." Dad says clicking onto the next slide. It was a picture of them dressed up kinda weird.

"That's where your mom and I met, doing The King and I in summer stock." Dad explained the picture.

"God, that costume was so tight." Mom laughed. "Next side, please." Dad switched onto the next slide which is of the day Megan was born. Mom literally gave birth to her in a barn with Dylan and I outside. Thankfully, I do not remember it.

"Is that baby me?" Megan asks excitedly.

"Mmm-hmm." Mom sighs happily. Everyone is queit for a few seconds as we just remember happier times when everyday we were together. "All right, you guys, let's, umm, get ready for bed." Mom says standing up. We all get up and start upstairs.

Mom and Dad go into Megan and Dylan's room to get them changed while I go to the bathroom to wash my face and brush my teeth. I do that and head to my bedroom just as Step-douche storms in to Megan and Dylans room.

Great. More drama between dad and the Step-douche.
