We are all out buying the Christmas tree for the house. I'm sat on a little kids bouncy castle with Griffy bouncing beside me which is very cute.

"Yeah Griffy. Big jump." I say holding his hands while he laughs his little head off.

"Jumpy, jumpy, jumpy!" Mom says filming him. I look at her and see a familiar figure walking around behind her. I look closer and recognise it as Zack.

"Uh, Mom. I'm just gonna..., umm go over there." I say climbing off the bouncy castle. Griffy carries on bouncing and I can feel Mom's eyes following me. I walk over to Zack and creep up behind him. "Boo!" I yell grabbing his shoulders causing him to visably jump and spin around to me laughing at him.

"Jesus! You made me jump." He says starting to laugh with his hand on his chest.

"Sorry. I had to get ya back for last night." I laugh at him. "Are you stalking me or something?" I ask him.

"You could be stalking me you know." He says causing us both to giggle again. God, i've giggled more in the few conversations i've had with this guy then I ever have. "I'm here with my family. Well, my dad, step-mum and step-sister. That's her over there." He says pointing at a little girl talking to my three younger siblings. She's cute. "So, what are you here just to see me?" He says in a jokey voice causing me to giggle again.

"Yeah. I followed you here just so I could talk to you after such a riveting conversation last night." I say to him laughing. "My family and I are trying to find a tree. Umm, that's my Mom and half-brother, my step-dad's dad, my step-dad, my dad, step-mom, grandpa, step-sister and my younger brother and sister. We have been here for an hour and still not chosen a tree." I say to him pointing at everyone.

"Woah. That's a lot of people." He says. We stand in a comfortable silence for a few seconds before he speaks again. "You know. Tonight my family are going to see some friends that are around here. If you wanted to take a break from it all, you can come over. You and Rocko." He says with a small smile.

"Oh, me and Rocko? What happens if I turn up without him?" I ask him also smiling a little bit.

"Well, I just won't let you in." He says seriously before laughing.

"Fair enough." I say laughing as well.

"You know, thinking about it. I never got your name. You know mine cause of my step-mom. I think it is only fair I know yours." He says smirking a bit. Oh yeah. He doesn't know my name yet.

"It's Sophie." I tell him with a small smile. I look to my left and see Dad and Grandpa Kurt looking at Zack with the same look. One that reads 'I am going to commit a felony'. Before I have time to respond in any way, Dad marches over and steps in front of me and right in Zacks face.

"What are you doing talking to my daughter? You are like 16 years old." He says in an angry voice. Zack tries to respond to him but Dad doesn't let him. "No! No! I am the one talking right now. You do not get to talk. You come anywhere near my daughter again and I will castrate you. You hear me? Go. Run along and play with your action figures." Dad yells at him. I send him an apologetic look before he walks back to his parents. I hit dad on the arm and he turns to look at me.

"Why would you do that dad!" I yell at him.

"I don't want you flirting with boys at all, let alone ones who look that much older than you." Dad says in a calmer tone than before.

"You flirt with everyone! Besides, I was just talking to him. You know, like two people do when they meet each other." I semi-yell at him. I can't believe he has embarrassed me like this.

"I am your father. I know what's best for you and that does not include talking to random, older boys whilst on family vacation." He says in a stern voice. Brad and Grandpa Kurt appear beside dad.
