As Cas opened the do to the training room techno music was blasting heavily. Cia was already present fighting her way through a new simulation only using two hand guns. Cas found it impressive to see her fight like this. While he fought with awkward movements Cia found a way to fight as if it were a simple dance.
By the time she registered that Cas had entered the simulation was over. "How was fight day," she asked. Slowly she placed her guns down and walked over to where he stood.
"Have a look for yourself." Cas pulled up the screen to reveal that his class rank had gained extra points. "I won."
"That's great," she said smiling. "But to be honest it looks like we have a lot of work to still do."
"Oh really," He said leaning up against a wall. "What would you suggest?"
Doing the same as Cas, she came in closer to him. "Weapons would be a great place to start and then maybe if you aren't completely drained by then we can start personalized hand-to-hand combat skills." She looked at him, "To be honest you kind of suck at my style of fighting."
"I do not," Cas said pretending to be offended. "I would say that I am a ten out of ten when it comes to," Cas paused, "that."
She laughed, "Smooth."
As she came in for a kiss Cas turned his head away. Causally, as if trying to ignore the scene all together, he walked over to the weapon rack. "So where do we start?"
Cia walked over to where he stood and pulled back her hair. "I think that we should start with long range weapons." Pulling up a screen she continued. "According to the data bank you can actually do really well with dagger combat, but it wouldn't hurt to train on sword and a few other weapons."
"Cool," He said picking up a hand gun.
"Hold up," she said making him put down the gun. "Astrid run assembly protocol on all long range weapons."
"Estimated time five hours, do you still wish to continue," Astrid said.
"It's fine by me, but be sure to add program Kale at the same time."
"As you wish," Astrid began to make its usual soft hum. By the time the program full loaded Cas was in an abandoned city. Several bags lay beside him.
"You better start assembling quickly." She looked up to the sky which was filling up with dark storm clouds. "They are coming."
Quickly Cas ran up to the bags and began riddling through them, but couldn't make sense of how to put anything together. Slowly the growls of lesser demons began to get closer. Using his precognition and a quick-learn symbol he worked hastily in order to assemble two hand guns. By the time he was able to get a third in place several wolf-like creatures were in site.
"First wave, alpha demons, will now begin," Astrid said. "Physical damage with be at fifteen."
"What," Cas exclaimed as he picked up two hand guns. Firing bullet after bullet as fast as he could, he couldn't help noticing that he was missing more than he was actually hitting the wolfs. Once the guns ran out of bullets they disintegrated into thin air. "Any suggestions," he screamed at Cia.
"Don't miss!" She stood observing not making a move.
"Very helpful." Grabbing the last gun from the ground he channelled his precognition and once more began to fire. The wolf all fell to the ground screaming in pain, but dissolving almost as soon as it happened.
"Wave one complete Hand gun evaluation comes to below basic," Astrid said. "Wave two will commence in three minutes."
A few of the bags disappeared. "Hey, I needed thoughts."
