Pandemonium

When we land back in Magnus' apartment Clary is in the living room watching TV with Chairmen Meow. She sees us, and says, "Hey, Catarina just portaled my stuff in. Said when she'd started helping Maryse pack it up Blondie was being held back by Robert and two other conclave men. I told her she should have gotten me a picture."
"You are cruel. I love it, Clary!" Magnus claps his hands with glee as he plops himself down on the couch beside her, and Chairman Meow.
"Yeah, I'm all up for being cruel, but your basically killing my parabati, you realize that right?" I ask sinking in to an overly stuffed plush chair.
"Well, he wants to break what's his, and then throw it away. He deserves it." Clary says shrugging her shoulders and changes it to a movie that Isabelle and her love to criticize the things that are wrong in it, Twilight.
"Ooo, my favorite. Magnus! We need popcorn!" Izzy squeals hopping over the back of the couch, and landing I her seat.
Magnus snaps his fingers, and popcorn bowls appear in front of the two girls. Magnus nods his head backwards towards his bedroom, and gets up. I follow him to his bedroom leaving the two girls and Chairman Meow to criticize their movie.
I walk through the door, and Magnus closes the door. He wraps his arms around my waist and puts his head on my shoulder.
"Clary, can't stay here forever. I love the girl to death, but still. This isn't her home." Magnus says kissing my cheek gently.
"I know, but she... she doesn't have a home anymore. Jace... Jace was her home. He broke her. What could he possibly do to get her b-" I am interrupted by the doorbell.
Magnus and I walk out as Izzy jumps over the couch, and heads for the door.
"Clary, you might want to go to your room. I think I know who it is." Izzy tells her over her shoulder.
Clary nods and stalks off mumbling about Jace being a blonde fucking bastard. I shake my head, and follow Izzy to the door.
Sure enough when Izzy opens it the 'Little Blonde Bastard' is standing in front of us. His eyes red and watery, he'd obviously been crying, which was rare.
"I... I... Magnus, please... please just let me come in. I need Alec. I need my parabati." Jace says as he leans heavily on the door frame.
Magnus snaps his fingers, and waves Jace in.
"You leave after you pour your heart out and finish your sobbing to my boyfriend. Got it?" Magnus says walking towards Clary's room.
"Alec... they took all of her stuff... Catarina and Maryse. After you three left they came up to our room, packed all her stuff, and Catarina took it through a portal. I was held down by Robert and to other conclave members. She's torturing me, Alec. She knows it, and she's doing it on purpose. Why the hell is she doing this to me..." Jace breaks off starting to sob.
"I... I..." I trail off not knowing how to help him without telling him she's here. In this building, just down the hall.
I get up as Izzy holds him, and rubs his back. I walk down the hall to Clary's room, and walk in to find Magnus holding Clary while SHE sobs.
"Oh my Angel! You two are terrible!" I exclaim walking over to Clary.
"He's in the living room sobbing in Isabelle's arms." I say sitting down next to them.
"Clary, honey, maybe you should..." Magnus trails off as she shakes her head standing up. She pulls out a stele, handing it to me and saying, "Rune me, and then send Isabelle in here. We are going hunting."
"You sure?" I ask.
I receive a stern look and short nod from Clary as she pulls her denim jacket off revealing faded silver scars lacing up and down her arms. I place the stele to Clary's skin, and quickly apply runes to her skin. After a few minutes of putting runes on her arms, neck, and a few on her stomach I hand her her stele back, and walk out to the living room.
When I come out I find Jace still sobbing in Isabelle's arms. I tap her on the shoulder, and say, "Uh... Magnus wants to talk to you. He's back in... Chairmen Meow's room."
"The cat has a damn room? Church might like that..." Jace says to himself.
"I'll take, Jace. You might be a few... hours." I say pressing two seraph blades and my stele in to her hand as she stands.
I sink down next to Jace a he puts his head in his hands and asks, "What would take her a few hours?"
"Uhh... not too sure, but probably involves complaining to Izzy your here." I say jokingly.
"Alec, just tell me what the hell she's going to do." Jace says looking at me through his fingers.
"Hunting. Alright. She's going hunting. Clary called, and Magnus is portaling her to Clary." I say tired of making up fancy nets of lies.
"What?! I thought you said Izzy and Magnus didn't know where she was!" Jace says getting angry.
"I lied. I told you, I fear her more than you. I'm sorry." I say standing up.
Jace stands with me, and we walk to the door.
"I'm going to take Jace back to the Institute. Then, I'll be back, Magnus." I say as Magnus comes in to the living room.
"Hurry back. I'm getting dinner from Europe." Magnus says as he kisses me.
I grab my jacket, and Jace and I walk towards the Institute.
"You think you have time to go hunting with me. Maybe go to the Pandemonium for an hour or two before you go back?" Jace asks as we round a corner.
"Yeah. I'm sure it'd help you. Though it seems like you both solve your problems the same way..." I say trailing off as we cross a street.
"Yeah... I guess so." Jace says.
We pass a hot dog stand, and Jace eyes the hot dogs hungrily.
"We'll eat later. Come on." I say dragging Jace forward.
He laughs and shrugs off my hand. Batting at it. We arrive at the Institute, and quickly head up to our rooms to get ready.
After an hour of preparing we head for Pandemonium, armed to the teeth, and ready for a fight. In the time between finishing getting ready and leaving I had called Magnus and told him I was going hunting with Jace.
As we walk in to Pandemonium Jace immediately spots a demon walking in to the storage closet that we had met Adele in. We follow across the club, but when we arrive there isn't a single demon in sight.
The only thing that would even suggest a demon had once been in this room is the shadowhunter wiping the ichor off her seraph blade, and sticking it through her weapons belt. Izzy recoils her whip as Clary looks at me angrily.
"I swear I didn't know you two were coming to Pandemonium. After I runed you I- Oh shit!" I say as I feel Jace's arm wrap around my throat...
