Going back to university with Choi San sometime pretty late into the evening, seems to be a surprisingly peaceful thing to do.

Wooyoung has seen a new side of San's today. A side he did not know existed before. But in some way it also scares him to see how quickly he seems to get used to being around normal San as well. It makes him feel a bit weak and easy to be honest, knowing that until a few hours ago, he still hated him with a passion and now he cannot get himself to do so anymore. And it took what? One proper conversation?

Pathetic. Ridiculous. Way too easy.

Nevertheless, the two of them somehow make it through a surprisingly pleasant bus drive back home and soon find themselves walking side by side, back to their dorm building. They even have a little bit of smalltalk and conversations about the most random little topics on the way, making everything feel even less awkward and surprisingly good to get over. Just before they are about to reach their dorm building and part ways, Wooyoung clears his throat and San turns his head to look at him with a raised brow.

"So uhm, I was wondering if.. you know, after what happened today, maybe we uhm...", he clears his throat again, avoiding San's gaze as his hand moves to scratch the back of his neck nervously. All while San is still just patiently waiting for him to continue. "Maybe we want to start over?"

He holds his breath as he hears a soft chuckle from the guy next to him. But he does still not dare to look at San. This is it. This is it with all the stuff getting better between them because San is probably going to make fun of him again now like he used to before and Wooyoung does not know if preparing himself for that like he is right now is even going to be enough.

It was nice to talk to San like they did today. He would hate for things to go back to normal.

It might have always been their very own type of normal, but even though Wooyoung had somehow even gotten used to it to a certain extent, he does not want it back at all.

"Start over? Like what?"

"Well, just... like nothing ever happened? We could start over on a clean slate. What happened between us would no longer be relevant. Like, no bullying took place, no escape business sex happened... we would just be two boys who happen to have gone to the same high school together and then coincidentally met again at university before finally becoming travel partners for some underground organization.", Wooyoung explains, still walking side by side with San as he gulps and waits for his answer.

He means what he has said. He would really like to just start over and try to forget about everything in the past, if the future is anything close to what they have had today. But when San stays quiet and does not say a single thing in response to Wooyoung's request, the younger finally manages to look up and to his side to see what San is doing.

San is only looking ahead though, not even looking like he wants to answer Wooyoung at all. It makes Wooyoung feel even more nervous, a little ridiculous even for proposing to start over in the first place. So he tries to escape the situation instead, sighing and trying to walk off instead. But San's hand is quick to grab him by his wrist and stop him from doing so. Instead. They both stop walking, looking into each other's eyes.

Then San holds out his hand as if he is waiting for Wooyoung to give him something and it only ends up confusing Wooyoung even more. He simply manages to stupidly blink back at San.

"Give me your phone.", San just says.

"What? Why?", Wooyoung asks back with wide eyes still staring at the older. San sighs at that.

"So I can save my number in your phone.", he says and Wooyoung's lips form an 'o' at that, his hands quickly fumbling to get out his phone and give it to San.
