Days were passing by in bliss, as both were spending their time together. Whenever Seokmin used to score good in the test prepared by Jisoo, he was rewarded with some or the other thing, like chocolates, gifts, sometimes going out together. There was a time when Jisoo gave him a photo frame with their picture in it, Seokmin was so in love with the frame. The frame was like a carved stone with a space to place a picture in it. It was unique and beautiful. Seokmin planned to keep it for lifetime, it was placed on Seokmin's study desk in his bedroom.

The first term exams for their academic year was just a week ahead, everyone was busy with their studies, especially the third year students, as they will be preparing for their entrance exams for universities too, they wished to study in. Third year was the most important year. Jisoo too was busy with his studies, it was a Saturday before the stressful week starts prior to their exams, "Hyung I think you should focus on you own studies more, I will be fine now as you know I am doing good in the tests you prepare for me." Seokmin said as he looked up from his pile of books, today they were at Seokmin's house for their regular study session rather then being at their ususal place. "No......Minnie I am doing good with my studies, you don't have to worry about it." Jisoo was trying to be busy with his maths problems as they decided to study together today, but to be honest he was avoiding to talk about it, because he loved spending time with Seokmin, but what Seokmin was implying was, they will do their studies separately without seeing each other and he was against it. It was hard for Seokmin too but he was very well aware about Jisoo's situation, as his English teacher told him, that the study sessions should not disturb Jisoo in anyway, as it was his third year, he wished best for his hyung. "No, I insist that you should prioritize your own studies, this year is important for you. I want to see you getting good grades and achieve your dreams. This one year can affect your whole academic life, you know that right.....!!" Seokmin face was all serious, as he grabbed Jisoo's hand which was holding the pen to gain his attention, staring at him for a response, "Is that so....thanks for reminding me." Jisoo patted Seokmin's cheek, with a sarcastic laugh, "Hyung, I am not joking." Seokmin gave a sharp look, so Jisoo finally realized that this was it, end of their study sessions together, "Okay...Fine, sorry for making jokes at a wrong time." Jisoo held his both ears apologetically, tilting his head a little with pleading eyes. Those actions were enough to melt Seokmin's serious demeanor, the frown on Seokmin's face was replaced by his teethy smile, which was enough wide, his signature smile, you know. The smile was contagious enough, as it reached directly to Jisoo's heart, he was smiling along with Seokmin.

"Okay....I will focus on my own studies from now on. But you are going to meet me right, like everyday." Jisoo's eyes were hopeful as they were staring at Seokmin for approval to meet him everyday. Seokmin chuckled at Jisoo's words, "We can meet everyday we are in same school...you remember right....its just different floors." Seokmin shrugged his shoulders. "Thats what I am saying we are on different floors......" Jisoo was being overdramatic about it, but he was cute.....Seokmin was falling harder, "Now you are being clingy, hyung...." Seokmin was pinching Jisoo's cheeks with adoration, "Yahhh....it hurts...stop doing that and I am stating the facts...its not being clingy okay....!!!" Jisoo tried uttering the words clearly as his cheeks were still in Seokmin's hands. "Okay.....so thank you for the efforts for imparting me with those so called facts of yours. But different floors are not going to change anything between us." Seokmin released Jisoo's cheeks with a wide grin on his lips. "I too hope that. And now I am done with my studies for today. I need to leave now." Jisoo was blushing hard as he heard Seokmin's last sentence, his stomach was flipping with contentment, trying to avoid looking at Seokmin, as he might find him being all shy, he hastily started to pack all his things in his backpack. "Why are you in a hurry?? We can have dinner together with my Omma." Ignoring Seokmin's words, Jisoo got up to from his place, bag hanging on his shoulder, ready to leave. Seokmin was quick enough to held Jisoo's bag to stop him from dashing away, but to both of their surprise, Jisoo's tripped over the table, panic rushed through his face, he closed his eyes shut tightly getting ready to hit the ground but it never happened as Seokmin was holding him by his bag, to save him from falling flat on his face he pulled Jisoo back and there they were in an awkward position, Jisoo just landed perfectly on to Seokmin's lap.
Jisoo opened his eyes slightly, there was a long silence, both frozen at their spot, without any movements. Seokmin's hand holding Jisoo's waist. Finally to shook off the awkward environment Jisoo cleared his throat, "Mmmmm...Minnie...I....I am sorry, I will get up.....I must be heavy." Jisoo steadied himself, getting ready to stand but Seokmin held him tight by his waist, holding him at his place on his lap, he was not in a mood to let Jisoo go, theirs hearts were pounding rapidly, "You are not heavy." As Jisoo heards those words from Seokmin, his heart which was already beating fast, started running crazily, butterflies fluttered in his stomach. "But I need to go now." "Please stay for awhile, just like this. I am going to miss spending time with you." Seokmin said in a soft soothing voice, which helped Jisoo to calm down a little. But what was up with Seokmin, why was he being like this, all this questions were circling in Jisoo's mind, "You will be fine.....we will be fine, we can meet in our lunch break." Jisoo turned around to face Seokmin, still sitting on his lap, caressing Seokmin's cheek with his thumb lovingly, pure adoration in his eyes. Few minutes earlier it was him who was being dramatic now it was Seokmin's turn to be a baby.

"I know hyung....just moments back I was the one who was consoling you....but now look at me being a cry baby. I am sorry for being such a idot." Seokmin said with a crooked smile on his lips, shrugging his shoulders, his hands still unconsciously on Jisoo's waist. "You can always be a cry baby with me Minnie. And you are not an idiot." Jisoo teasingly booped his nose. "Hyung... I am not a baby you know that." Seokmin was being whiny, pouting his lips, "You are a baby....you said so just before." Jisoo loved teasing Seokmin so much, he was laughing at his Minnie's puffed face. When suddenly Seokmin gave a peck on his right cheek, it was a quick kiss, just like a speed of a lightning. His hand unknowingly went to the spot where Seokmin's lips touched his skin, the spot felt warm from the kiss, he was blushing hard, the blush was spreading like a wild fire, from his cheeks to his ears and then towards his neck. Turning them red. "Hyung....you are turning red." Seokmin said with a wide grin, he felt proud of his actions, because the way Jisoo was reacting it was satisfying for him. "You are the reason for this. I need to go now." Jisoo said as he hit Seokmin on his shoulder, getting up abruptly. "Okay hyung....I will walk you to the door lets go." Seokmin's was still smiling like a madman, as he opened the door of his bedroom making way for Jisoo. Jisoo went out first, Seokmin following him from behind. The atmosphere was silent but not awkward, it was settling.

As they reached the front door of Seokmin's house, Jisoo turned around on his heels facing Seokmin, who was leaning on the doorframe. "See you on Monday, at school. Bye." Jisoo flashed a smile which was full of embarrassment, his mind was still lurking in those moments, which shook him from his head to toes. "See you hyung." Seokmin waved with a bright smile. It was the best day of Seokmin's life. Finally he mustered his courage to kiss his lovely hyung.
