CHAPTER 10: PHYSCAL TENSION

Laying down in bed never felt so comfortable like it was in that moment. Feeling the coziness of the room, the warmth of the blankets, and especially the quiet sound which seemed to be magical was something priceless.

Isaac was in his room down the bunker, resting after the horrific attack from days ago. He had a few bruises here and there but nothing too serious. Some marks would be visible from now on but he didn't care that much about it. On the other hand, Gavin was in his bedroom inside the bunker as well, but with injuries more serious than Isaac's for sure. Lola took care of the damage that the attack caused to both boys. Now Gavin was healing.

Lola was the only one feeling good that day. She was watching the news while eating, hoping that she would get to know about anything suspicious happening in the city but so far the only thing she heard was a big party taking place in Trahous Field Park celebrating the 3000th anniversary of the country. "Just another lame birthday party. Oh, Gods." She got up to put her plate in the dishwasher. When she was younger she used to love the country birthday because there were amusement parks, live shows, and a day off from school. Now living the best of her 21st year of living, Lola sees that celebrating this country does not worth that much.

This celebration was good only for those who lived in the privileged part of the country. Those who lived far away and didn't have enough money to pay for a trip to the Capital Qorjal had a difficult time getting into celebrations.

Lola kept entertaining herself while the two boys were still asleep. Her attention was completely directed to the television while watching TV Series nonstop and eating snacks since she had nothing more important to do. Around 16 in the afternoon, Isaac woke up first. He was feeling a tiredness that was out of this world like he could sleep for two or three more days easily. When he took the blankets off his body, he took a breath and sat on the bed, his toes getting in contact with the warmed floor. He was wearing nothing but his boxers, showing off the beautiful body he had built up in training. The toned chest of his own had a bit of hair in its middle with some growing up very little in the rest of his chest. He grabbed a dark blue tank top to wear.

After putting it on, he stood in front of the light gray sliding door of his room and it opened almost instantly. It had a sensor to open automatically when someone stands close to it. Walking out barefoot, Isaac calmly made his way to the kitchen and living room, to find Lola still on TV. He said nothing when passed by her and she stopped eating her snacks to snap at him.

"Hey Isaac good afternoon to you too." She said looking at his figure and grabbing something in the fridge.

"Please do not talk to me." Said him quite harshly.

She knew he wasn't a morning person, even though it was not morning anymore. "Please be civil at least. Are you going to Trahous today?"

"You wish."

"Cameron is going with Adenn, Gymna and Addhamant. Probably your girlfriend Blanca will be there too." Lola grabbed the bag of the chips she was eating and saw it empty already, frowning unhappily at it. Snack producers still put more air inside instead of the actual food.

"One more reason for me to stay home." Isaac sat on the stool and put on a plate with some quick food. Lola thought about making them something to eat but since she didn't know when they would wake she decided not to do so. "I do not know why you ask these things. You know I cannot be seen outside."

"Still you go out a lot like you can. Go check up on Gavin after you eat. Be kind for once." She grabbed her PAD from her pocket and augmented its size so she could be more comfortable using it.

"Why do not you go? It is your new bestie." He said while chewing, making Lola frown instantly. She totally hated people talking while eating.

"Oh Gods swallow it already than you can speak." Now she was picking a picture to post on her socials. Lola was a social media person and got a well recognition from it. "This one is so pretty!"
