"So I wanted to thank every single one of you who are here tonight to celebrate the candidacy of our future President!" Angelina was applauded by the crowd inside the crystallized room where the party was taking place. The stage she was standing on was round and sparkly, floating in the air with other platforms that worked as a staircase to the floor. Behind her, panels showed colorful and addictive lightning repeatedly and were quite tall. The theme of the event was crystals of our own, defined and developed by Lola herself. Both of them wore crystallized gowns that outlined their bodies and put them in evidence in every room they stepped into. Lola was wearing the color purple while Angelina chose a more neutral tone. The interview with Gavin just ended and she took the stage to talk to the public. "He will be with us in a few instants and while we wait we will have amazing performances from the Belluidho, the band who is currently taking every single chart in this country. I hope you like it!" The crowd applauded her again and Angelina left the stage, meeting Lola at the end of the staircase.
"Are they coming already?" Lola asked when Angelina stood near her, still having the gentle expression over her face.
"I don't know." Then Angelina's softness faded. "I haven't talked to them yet."
"Oh." Lola was surprised with the information she was just received. She thought Angelina was 100% committed with Gavin's candidacy and stuff, so she frowned. "Why is that? I thought you were always into everything."
Angelina thought if she was going to tell the truth about what happened two nights before. "Me and Gavin are not in good spirituality." She grabbed a cup one waiter was holding while passed next to them. The drink was strong and rough like a rock. Her throat was left in the cup but she managed to drink it anyway.
Lola's eyes widened. Never in her lifetime she would think Gavin and Angelina would get in a discussion. "What happened? You and Gavin fighting? Was it because of Isaac? You do not approve them together?"
"No, Lola. It has nothing to do with their relationship. Quite the contrary. I love seeing them together. Gavin and I got into a silly discussion about security matters that is all." They started walking towards the tables where all the guest were sitting in.
"He is leaving in three days. I don't think you should left things like that. I don't even like the thought of Gavin losing, but is a possibility. You know what I mean. It is not worthy, Angie."
"I will message Isaac, to see where they are." Angelina ignored what Lola said but it kept inside her mind. She knew she couldn't see Gavin ever again, and she also knew she promised to Chemeris she was going to take care of him like he was her son. She did it right so far, but in that very moment? Not that much according to her own perspective.
"Yes, and make sure to talk with Gavin when he's here." She scolded her, then her expression changed to excitement. "The Belluidho are on the stage, oh my Liberator!" She was a huge fan and that is the reason behind their presence in the party.
Angelina was reached by two voters of the future election. Peddryik and Qio Ommareth, a couple who took place inside the State Union Parliament Office. They were excited to meet the candidate and walked up to Angelina to check if he was taking long or not. "Hello, Mrs. Bethervan." Qio said a very excited and long hello, showing his white tooth plaque.
"Hello Mr. Ommareth." She retributed the gentle words and expressions. "Are you enjoying the party so far?" She took another sip of her drink.
"Oh,yeah, yeah!" Peddryik took the opportunity to talk, having a cup in hand too. "The decoration is amazing and the drinks are spectacular. I wonder who else then Angelina Bethervan could get so many important people together like you did tonight."
